This paper is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the evolution of management models for digital platforms and organizations in the context of the transition from Web2 to Web3 and the formation of a future post-Web3 management paradigm. The main existing management models are considered in detail, their strengths and weaknesses are identified. A multi-criteria comparative analysis of three models (centralized, DAO, and hybrid) is carried out in terms of democracy, economic efficiency, and risk tolerance. The results of the analysis demonstrate that none of the pure management models is universally optimal. At the same time, the hybrid model demonstrates the most balanced results in all groups of criteria, which makes it possible to consider the creation of hybrid institutions that ensure a balance between decentralization, efficiency and resistance to manipulation as the basis for the formation of a post-Web3 management architecture. The principles of building a post-Web3 management system as an adaptive, multi-level system combining an operational core, expert subdomains and a broad community are outlined. The key characteristics of post-Web3 are the transition from quantitative token voting to reputation-based management and participant contributions (meritocracy), the introduction of algorithmic legitimacy, and the integration of AI to support decision-making.

Management of Decentralized Autonomous Organizations in the Digitalization Setting

A. S. Yukhno

The paper’s subject is examining decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) governance models during the digital economic shift. This study aims to deeply analyze DAOs to find governance aspects, and to develop a model to help integrate them into global finance and public administration. To achieve this goal, the study addressed the following tasks: analyzing existing methods to DAO governance; identifying key risks and opportunities; modeling a hybrid organizational structure; and assessing the role of stablecoins as a stabilizing element. The study’s novelty comes from the creation of a unique adaptive DAO governance model that combines elements of centralization and decentralization to enhance efficiency and legitimacy. The author used methods of comparative and systemic analysis, modeling, and real-world solutions and regulations. The results prove DAOs can complement traditional governance by making economic interactions more transparent and efficient. The study’s main takeaway is that DAOs need a balanced regulatory framework and better governance. Government agencies, blockchain developers, and specialists in public and corporate governance can use the work results.

The potential of crypto-economic tools in managing the risks associated with pharmaceutical research and development

Olga S. Stepchenkova

The article deals with the development and theoretical justification of a set of economic and mathematical models that ensure the risk management of decentralised research projects in the pharmaceutical industry using crypto-economic tools. The necessity of this development stems not only from the challenges posed by geopolitical instability and the obsolescence of the traditional β€œblockbuster” funding model in pharmaceutical corporations, but also from the development of highly specialised markets of medications for the treatment of rare diseases, research into longevity therapies, and the advancement of β€œlong-tail science”, as well as new ways of organising research and development within the paradigm of decentralised science based on Web3 technologies. The study presents models that are unified by an endto-end risk management logic: from the assessment of management structure and human resource capacity, through fundamental valuation, to revenue distribution and protection against biomedical risks. The results obtained make it possible to establish threshold criteria for the management structure in scientific decentralised autonomous organisations (DAOs) and to formulate targeted recommendations for public authorities on improving the regulation of decentralised organisations.

Platform and ecosystem models for implementing credit relations in the agricultural sector

Dmitry Korobeynikov

The article examines existing and prospective models of credit relations in the agro-industrial complex within the framework of financial platforms and non-financial ecosystems. These models are based on fintech innovations. This type of innovation changes models by involving new types of intermediaries in the intermediation of financial and information flows between the lender and the borrower. The following models of corporate credit functioning within the framework of digital platforms and ecosystems are identified: 1) financial information aggregators that accumulate and transfer client traffic for bank lead generation; 2) financial platforms that translate the transactional model of financial marketplaces to the corporate sector; 3) financial marketplaces based on distributed ledger technology (DLT) within the framework of a centralized or decentralized financial model; 4) an infrastructural industry ecosystem that ensures the integration of credit into industry value chains in the agro-industrial complex.

Assessment of Prospects for the Use of Decentralized Finance (DeFi) Mechanisms in Export-Import Operations in the Region

M. R. Safiullin, L. A. Yelshin, M. D. Sharifullin

The sanctions restrictions imposed on the Russian economy have predetermined the risks of reduced control and blocking cross-border financial channels for international payments. Under these circumstances, an important element of the state’s economic policy is the development of adaptation solutions that ensure the ability to minimize the risks associated with transformation of foreign economic activity. One of the mechanisms that forms the basis for solving this problem is the use of decentralized finance (DeFi) in the practice of international settlements. Meanwhile, it should be noted that in this area of financial and economic relations today there are a number of open issues β€” ranging from the conceptual framework to the impact of these fintech-innovations on the prospects for the stability of national financial systems and economic development in general. These issues acquire a special level of relevance at the regional level. The subject of the study is the prospects and mechanisms for using DeFi tools in the system of cross-border payments within the region. The object of the study is the foreign trade operations of the Republic of Tatarstan with the People’s Republic of China. The purpose of the study is to develop and test methodological approaches for assessing the potential impact of fintech DeFi tools on the organization foreign economic activity in the region on the stability of gross GRP dynamics. The authors used methods of cointegration analysis, scenario modeling, substantiation of the studied patterns using regression analysis methods, etc. The information and statistical basis for the study were derived from data from the Federal State Statistics Service of the Russian Federation, the National Bureau of Statistics of China, as well as data from the territorial statistical authority of the Republic of Tatarstan. The study resulted in the systematization of the macroeconomic effects of using DeFi technologies for organizing international payments. A series of macroeconomic models have been developed that made it possible to identify and justify the potential for economic growth in the region through the practical application of DeFi tools in the system of organizing transnational settlements under sanction restrictions.

Analyzing Factors of Management Centralization in Decentralized Autonomous Organizations

Π’ Π’ Абрамов

Decentralized autonomous organizations based on team management and algorithmic mechanisms of decisionmaking play a serious role in the development of digital economy. Their introduction helps eliminate shortcomings typical of traditional hierarchical management and provides more democratic decision-making in digital communities. However, in spite of decentralization ideals today’s decentralized autonomous organizations demonstrate a stable trend towards recentralization of power. The article provides a systemic analysis of factors stipulating management centralization in decentralized autonomous organizations. By analyzing the current research and empiric data a comprehensive classification of such factors was put forward, as well as methods opposing them. Both technological and legal and social solutions are being discussed. The discussion substantiates the necessity to reach balance between decentralization and managerial efficiency. Finally, a conclusion was made running that sustainability of decentralized autonomous organizations does not depend on centralization elimination but on ability to develop adaptive mechanisms of power restriction.

Opportunities and threats of decentralized financing development for traditional financial institutions

A. Pogosyan

Decentralized financing may become an effective tool for developing financial markets in the Russian Federation in the foreseeable future, but its legitimization is associated with a number of threats and occurs in conditions of uncertainty. At the same time, postponing decisions in the development of the state's financial policy may lead to even greater costs associated with the departure of a promising segment of the new financial market into the shadows. The paper considers the opportunities and threats of decentralized financing development for traditional financial institutions in the Russian Federation. The study was prepared using the methods of conceptual, comparative analysis, financial and economic foresight. Results: the concept of decentralized financing is clarified, the differences between decentralized financing and digital financial assets previously legalized in Russia are considered. International experience of companies - traditional financial intermediaries - entering decentralized financing is presented, which is mainly in the nature of a test approbation of possibilities. Based on international statistics, an increase in the share of traditional financial companies in the volume of decentralized borrowings is shown. The article describes the diversity of development opportunities in the decentralized finance market for such classic financial intermediaries as commercial banks. Solutions for the development of financial policy in the Russian Federation are proposed, the need for legalization and the fastest possible construction of a sovereign infrastructure of decentralized finance with the safe involvement of traditional financial institutions is argued.

DIGITALIZATION AS A KEY TREND IN THE TURBULENT ENVIRONMENT OF CORPORATE ENTERPRISES

O. Peshko

The article examines the role of digitalization as a key trend in the turbulent environment of corporate enterprises. Key infrastructure components necessary for the successful functioning of the digital economy have been identified, including the regulatory framework, digital skills of professionals, and effective and accountable institutions. An important trend in the development of the digital economy is the emergence of "FinTech" companies that replace traditional financial intermediaries. The main aspects of the essence of the concept of financial technologies "FinTech" are considered. The tools for implementing digital technologies in the financial market of Ukraine are analyzed, including neobanking, artificial intelligence and machine learning, cryptocurrencies, open banking and financial ecosystems. The rapid development of these instruments is causing turbulence in both the financial sector as a whole and the emission activity of corporate enterprises. Among the features of the digitalization of emission activity in the financial market, the network effect, globalization, changing business models and increasing the speed of change are highlighted. The risks of introducing digital technologies into the financial market, including in the context of digitalization of emission activities in Ukraine, in addition to general risks related to cybersecurity, data privacy, lack of qualifications and knowledge, lack of flexibility and dynamism, include such specific risks as the emergence and development of decentralized autonomous organizations (DAO). A feature of DAO is that their role as a mechanism for protecting interests of stakeholders does not require the usage of an extensive system of various intermediaries that are necessary for the traditional stock market, which helps minimize transaction costs. The analysis of the role of digitalization as a modern trend in the formation of the corporate environment of enterprises showed a dual nature of the impact, since digitalization contributes to the growth of the adaptability of enterprises by accelerating the response to the challenges of a dynamic environment. However, digitalization enhances the dynamism of the environment itself and, in the process of interference with other factors, generates its turbulence. Prospects for further research include the development of a methodology for assessing the effectiveness of the usage of digital technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and blockchain, for the digitalization of the emission activity of corporate enterprises.

Integration models of corporate governance for digital financial assets in distributed ledger ecosystems considering cyber risks, regulatory constraints, and operational interoperability

Elvira N. Belozorova

The article is devoted to the development of integration models of corporate governance for digital financial assets in distributed ledger ecosystems as applied to agricultural and processing enterprises that experience a chronic shortage of investments and require alternative sources of financing. The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical and applied justification for a format of digital asset governance that simultaneously ensures capital raising, compliance with regulatory requirements, reduction of cyber risks, and operational interoperability of blockchain platforms with the existing infrastructure of an enterprise. The materials include statistics on investments in the agro industrial complex, regulatory and legal acts of Russia and foreign jurisdictions, industry analytical reports, as well as more than 70 academic publications. The study employs methods of system and comparative analysis, economic and statistical methods, bibliometric analysis, case studies, and business-process simulation modeling. The results show exponential growth in the financing of agricultural projects through digital financial assets: in 2019–2024, the volume of attracted funds increased from zero to 28.7 billion rubles, and the share of tokenized instruments reached 7.5% of all investments in the sector. Scenario analysis demonstrates that the presence of a formalized corporate governance system and advanced cybersecurity reduces the average number of incidents by almost three times and decreases total annual losses by more than half, even with increasing preventive costs. Modeling of three integration options (traditional, partially integrated, and fully integrated) reveals up to a 24-fold reduction in data reconciliation time, a tenfold decrease in errors, and more than a sevenfold reduction in transaction costs when transitioning to a unified distributed ledger. Based on the analysis, the article substantiates the concept of an integration model of corporate governance for digital financial assets, relying on a combination of a regulatory-neutral architecture, risk-oriented management procedures, and deep IT integration, which makes it possible to consider digital assets as a sustainable element of the financial strategy of agro-industrial enterprises rather than a one-off experiment.

The model of a decentralized project tokens allocation

Georgy Kolesnik

The development of distributed ledger technologies (blockchain) led to the alternative ways to finance projects based on the issuance of tokens – digital accounting units in blockchain platforms. Unlike traditional financing mechanisms, the use of tokens allows for greater flexibility in fundraising and income and management rights allocation among stakeholders. An urgent problem that arises when using this mechanism is to determine the proportions in which tokens are distributed among the stakeholders of the project. Currently, this problem is solved by each project individually, based on its organizers’ subjective vision. In the article, the problem of token allocation of a decentralized project is investigated from the point of view of cooperative game theory. A token allocation model is considered in the form of a three-party cooperative game and the properties of its solutions are investigated, based on the core, Shapley value and nucleolus. The model allows to obtain estimates of rational token allocations corresponding to the participants’ contributions in the project, as well as stable to individual parties and their coalitions deviations. It also makes possible to solve the inverse problem of assessing the contribution of participants and their coalitions to the value of the project based on information about the past token allocation.

Amarachi Queen Olufemi-Phillips, Onyeka Chrisanctus Ofodile, Adekunle Stephen Toromade, Abbey Ngochindo Igwe Β· 5 authors

This study explores the potential of blockchain technology to stabilize food supply chains during periods of economic inflation. Economic inflation poses significant challenges to food security, as rising prices can disrupt supply chain transparency, efficiency, and trust among stakeholders. This research develops a conceptual model demonstrating how blockchain can enhance transparency and stability in food supply chains, ultimately improving resilience against inflationary pressures. By providing a decentralized, immutable ledger, blockchain technology allows for real-time tracking of food products from farm to table, enabling better inventory management and demand forecasting. The proposed model integrates key components, including smart contracts, which automate transactions and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. This feature not only reduces delays but also fosters trust among supply chain participants, such as farmers, distributors, retailers, and consumers. Additionally, the model emphasizes the role of data analytics in harnessing blockchain data to provide insights into pricing trends and inventory levels, facilitating proactive decision-making in response to inflation. Future research directions are identified, focusing on innovations within blockchain technology that could further mitigate the effects of inflation on food supply chains. Potential areas of exploration include integrating artificial intelligence (AI) for predictive analytics, utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) devices for real-time data collection, and developing decentralized finance (DeFi) solutions to enhance liquidity and investment in the agricultural sector. This study contributes to the growing body of literature on blockchain applications in supply chain management by highlighting its potential as a tool for enhancing food security in inflationary environments. By ensuring transparency, improving stakeholder collaboration, and providing actionable insights, blockchain technology can play a pivotal role in stabilizing food supply chains amidst economic fluctuations. THE THEORY OF TRANSFORMATION OF INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LEGAL REGIMES USING BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGIES: INTERNATIONAL CONTEXT

Oleksandr Bignyak, S. Mazurenko, Olga Ivanchenko

This article is dedicated to the study of the theory of transformation of intellectual property legal regimes through blockchain technologies on an international scale. It focuses on three thematic blocks: firstly, defining the essence of blockchain technologies; secondly, analysing international blockchain technology standards; and thirdly, exploring variations in the use of blockchain technologies for the registration of intellectual property objects. The subject of the study is the social relations in the field of intellectual property and the mechanisms for their regulation. Methodology. The article employs scientific methods of cognition and doctrinal resolution of issues related to the use of digital tools in the regulation of social relations. This encompasses formal-logical and dialectical methodologies. A variety of empirical techniques, including synthesis, deduction, and statistical analysis, were employed. Results. The study reveals the absence of a direct indication of the use or intent to use distributed ledger technology, otherwise known as blockchain technology. The study demonstrates the significance of utilising blockchain technology in maintaining the customs register to account for intellectual property objects protected by law. This ensures the impossibility of unauthorised alteration or deletion of information about intellectual property objects, as provided by distributed ledger technology. These legal relations emerge in the course of entering information into the aforementioned registers, making modifications (updates), and providing information to interested parties. The use of blockchain technologies in the formation of the register of issued certificates of state registration of copyright for a work is justified.
