Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO) becomes a popular governance solution for decentralized applications (dApps) to achieve decentralized governance. In the DAO, no single entity can arbitrarily control the dApps without approval from the majority of members. However, despite its advantages, DAO has also been targeted by several attacks, leading to the loss of millions of dollars. In this paper, we first provided an overview of the DAO governance process within the blockchain. Next, we identified the issues within three components of governance process: Governance Contract, Documentation, and Proposal. Each of these components is vulnerable to issues that could potentially result in substantial financial losses. Then we developed automated methods to detected above issues. To investigate the issues within the existing DAO ecosystem, we constructed a state-of-the-art dataset that includes 16,427 DAOs, 183 documentation, and 122,307 proposals across 9 different blockchains. Our analysis reveals that a majority of DAO developers and members have not given sufficient attention to these issues, especially in the area of proposal. The result shows that over 60% of the examined proposals fail to provide a consistent description and code for their members, highlighting a significant gap in ensuring transparency within the DAO governance process. For a better DAO governance ecosystem, DAO developers and members can utilize the methods to identify and address issues within governance process.

NFT (Non-Fungible Token) sebagai alternatif aset digital pada masa kini memunculkan permasalahan pelanggaran hak cipta. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis perlindungan hukum hak cipta terhadap keberadaan NFT di Indonesia terutama pada platform Opensea. Metode penelitian yang digunakan jenis penelitian yuridis normatif, yakni merupakan penelitian hukum yang dilakukan dengan cara meneliti bahan pustaka atau data sekunder. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan bahwa perlindungan hak cipta terhadap NFT di Indonesia belum secara jelas diatur didalam Undang-Undang Nomor 28 Tahun 2014 tentang Hak Cipta. Namun demikian, perlindungan hak cipta atas NFT pada Platform Opensea, sudah diakamodir di dalam syarat dan ketentuan dari platform tersebut. Opensea berhak melakukan takedown atas konten yang melanggar kekayaan intelektual orang lain khususnya hak cipta.

Following Haitian President Jean-Claude Duvalier's flight into exile in February 1986, the President of Haiti's provisional Conseil National de Gouvernement (CNG), Lieutenant General Henri Namphy, and his Minister of Finance, Leslie Delatour, enacted liberal reforms. This study examined their initial doctrine, decrees, and institutions for democratization and free markets, within a historical context of over-centralization and exclusion. Its purpose was to explore the contradiction and consequences of pursuing liberalization by decree, without significant decentralization. The author extracted CNG doctrine from speeches, legislation, and economic records. He then juxtaposed it with the adverse results of market reforms and popular reactions gathered from nine Haitian newspapers and two archival collections. He found that CNG doctrine and institutions were inadequate for resolving exclusion and popular discontent. Rather the deficiency of market reforms and the insufficiency of representative institutions exacerbated exclusion, which the author identified as the source of confrontation and violence in 1987.

This being the case, the local authorities must do far more than in the past to face up to the challenge of making efficient use of their own assets and external financing for local economic development with a view to reducing poverty; they are also repeatedly urged to practise democracy and development on specific projects by eliciting democratic decisions on the use of the scarce resources provided by themselves and obtained from external sources. Both having constantly to deal with the hard realities of development financing constraints democratically and implementing majority decisions on development in a decentralized structure governed by the subsidiarity principle probably form the ideal course for future poverty-oriented development. Following this course successfully will undoubtedly require staying power of all concerned, both in the partner countries and in the international development cooperation community.
