Smart Objects and Smart Finance for Supply Chain Management

Logistic transport processes are highly distributed and often subject to disturbances, as they are embedded in dynamic environments that prohibit tight control, as many third-party actors and influences exist. Classical approaches for planning and controlling supply chains based on centralized architectures often encounter their limits managing processes at runtime, due to inherent latencies. Decentralized approaches promise a more robust and timely control. The project SOFiA strives to elevate the machines and objects themselves to smart objects, equipped with an understanding of processes and capable of independent decision-making, rather than a centralized server-based system. This paper discusses the project’s decentralized control architecture and the integration of semantic process models with event-discrete simulations as well as smart payment technology to provide an integrated solution for planning, controlling, monitoring and accounting of logistic processes.

Diese Bachelorarbeit untersucht die effiziente Implementierung von Smart Contractsfür dezentrale Anwendungen auf Ethereum Virtual Machines (EVM). Die EVM fungiertals dezentrale Ausführungsumgebung und bildet die Grundlage für Smart Contracts,wobei die Gasgebühren eine zentrale Rolle für die Effizienz solcher Anwendungenspielen. Die Arbeit zeigt spezifische Implementierungstechniken, Best Practices undEntwurfsmuster zur Gasoptimierung für Smart Contracts auf und bietet einen erstenÜberblick über Methoden zur Entwicklung kosteneffizienter DApps auf der EVM.Die Implementierungstechniken umfassen Aspekte wie Datenspeicherung, Variablen-verwaltung, Kontrollstrukturen und weiter effiziente Operationen. Es werden zweiEntwurfsmuster Smart Contracts vorgestellt und anschließend wird auf Teststrategienund -umgebungen zur Qualitätssicherung und Leistungsmessung von Smart Con-tracts eingegangen. Es erfolgt abschließend die Bewertung und Zusammenfassung derErgebnisse aus denen Best Practices abgeleitet werden.

Tokenized assets that cannot be exchanged with one another are referred to as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Tokens are differentiated from one another using a one-of-a-kind identifying number and the metadata that comes along with them. NFTs can be purchased, sold, and traded for fiat currency, digital currency, and other NFTs, all of which depend on their current value on the market and the expectations of their owners. The crucial distinction between cryptocurrencies and other tokens, however, is that fungible cryptocurrencies on the identical blockchain can be freely exchanged for one another. Even though two NFTs on the same blockchain may have an identical outward appearance, they cannot be traded for one another. This study aims to investigate the numerous dangers, opportunities, and moral dilemmas posed by NFTs in marketing. Therefore, at the end of this chapter, the reader will acquire a comprehensive knowledge of NFTs in marketing. In addition, you will have a solid understanding of the risks, rewards, and ethical considerations involved in NFTs in marketing.

THE LATEST MARKETING TECHNOLOGIES: THEORETICAL AND PRACTICAL ASPECTS

The purpose of the article is a theoretical review of the formation and development of the latest marketing technologies and their practical adaptation to the entrepreneurial activity of Ukrainian business entities. The main marketing technologies developed by different markets and used by business structures of medium-sized businesses are considered. It is detailed that when conducting office research, marketers use Big Data technology as a technology for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data for their further use in order to solve various tasks. It is specified that effective marketing technologies such as SMM (Social Media Markitang), SEO (Search Engine Optimization), Tableau technologies, Google Data Studio, Microsoft Power BI, TRI*M, digital advertising and CRM technology are in the arsenal of marketers for conducting field research. . The main new marketing technologies are separated, namely: NFT technology (Non-Fungible Tokens), AR/VR (augmented reality/virtual reality) technology and artificial intelligence technology. According to the conducted studies, it was established that CRM technology is currently used by all business structures, digital advertising technology - 95%, SMM technology - 85%, TRI*M and SEO technologies - 75%. It is detailed that artificial intelligence technology is used by large and medium-sized business companies in the following areas: personalized automation, omnichannel, omnichannel marketing, the field of brand community formation and creation of texts, images for its promotion, etc.

Bitcoin: Keine Anwendbarkeit des ZaDiG 2018.

§ 1 BWG; § 1 E-GeldG; §§ 1, 4, 67, 87 ZaDiG 2018. Das Vorliegen eines Zahlungsvorgangs sowie eines Zahlungskontos setzt voraus, dass sie sich auf „Geldbeträge“, also Banknoten und Münzen, Giralgeld oder E Geld beziehen. Bitcoins sind aber weder (auf eine gesetzliche Währung lautende) Banknoten und Münzen noch Giralgeld oder E-Geld. Eine direkte Anwendung des ZaDiG 2018 (insb dessen §§ 67, 87) scheitert daher an der fehlenden Eigenschaft von Bitcoins als „Geld“ und dem folgend am Fehlen eines Zahlungsvorgangs und - wie hier - am Fehlen der Eigenschaft der Beklagten als Zahlungsdienstleister.

Web3 Decentralized Business Models

This paper presents key characteristics of Web3 and how the traditional business model canvas (BMC) requires update to support managers in the Web3 industry. The characteristics of Web3 include Dapps, wallets, interoperability, tokenization, distributed ownership, decentralized communities, creator economy, and token economy. This study investigates how a business model in Web3 is different from the traditional BMC by Osterwalder and Pigneur (2010) based on a Delphi study with a panel of eight experts from the Web3 industry. The contribution of the research outlines a nascent Web3 business model canvas with seven building blocks, which are complemented by two overarching components specific to the nascent Web3 business models: value co-creation and value distribution. Furthermore, the model expands on the blocks of community and customer, tokenomics, and incentive and reward structures.
