Blockchain is a disruptive technology and it will have a massive impact on how we live, work, and build our societies. Distributed ledgers facilitate trustless, peer-to-peer transactions, removing the need for intermediaries and making data immutable, verifiable, and traceable. Blockchain technology will do for transactions what the internet has done for the sharing of information. Leaders, organisations, and societies that want to innovate and lead the pack should be aware of Blockchain and how it will change everything. Chapter 10 summarises how it can contribute to solving some of the world’s biggest challenges and offers a road map for business adoption.
