The study focused on the discourses on cryptocurrency in national and international news articles. This study utilized a complementary research design to examine cryptocurrency's framing strategies, linguistic features, and ideologies. This study analyzed 50 news articles from leading National and International News outlets published from February 1, 2024, to June 15, 2024. Results revealed that economic consequence and conflict framing were dominant frames. Compounding and Derivation were common linguistic features, while clipping was evident in international news narratives. Moreover, no significant differences were found in economic consequence, conflict, and morality frames. However, there was a significant difference in the attribution of responsibility and human-interest frames. Moreover, there were no significant differences in compounding derivation, initialism, and acronym. However, there was a significant difference on clipping in linguistic features. The ideologies reflected habitus, field, capital, and doxa. Media and technology literacy and political preferences represent the Habitus. While the fields were government regulatory and cryptocurrency exchanges. Economic capital as Central Digital Currency and Bitcoin Etf. Social capital featured politically corrupt figures and influential individuals. Cultural capital represents the digital skills organization and educational background of individuals. PRÁVNÍ ASPEKTY PLAY-TO-EARN (P2E) JAKO VÝDĚLEČNÉ ČINNOSTI 5 Abstract This thesis focuses on the legal qualification of a new business model of video games, which, in contrast to the traditional conception of video game entertainment as a recreational activity, promises players the possibility of achieving a stable income. This model has come to be known in the industry as "play-to-earn" (P2E), where the earning mechanism is implemented di- rectly in the source code of the video game. Unlike professional video game play for financial reward, known as e-sports, the P2E model is based on re- warding through the automatic generation of crypto-assets (cryptocurren- cies or non-fungible tokens known as NFTs). The player is then able to trans- act with the assets thus acquired, including the resulting exchange into legal tender. The mechanism of the game runs automatically through smart con- tracts built on a blockchain. This thesis examines this phenomenon from sev- eral legal aspects, in particular the issue of gambling, the upcoming Euro- pean regulation on Markets in Crypto-assets (MiCA) and related Czech tax issues. The diploma thesis "NFTs as profile pictures on social media" focuses on the young blockchain technology of non-fungible tokens and one of its most common use cases. The theoretical part of the thesis presents key terms and concepts closely related to NFTs and profile pictures. The practical part of the thesis consists of the research itself, a qualitative study conducted via semi-structured interviews with participants who use NFTs as profile pictures on social media. The aim of the research is to find out where and why, in relation to self-presentation, are NFTs used as profile pictures on social media.

People obtain knowledge from different sources, depending on the issues that they wish to analyze or resolve. In this paper, the authors examine the sources of knowledge on cryptocurrencies that can be useful for young people. The authors used a survey questionnaire to collect empirical data. The sample consisted of students from Polish universities representing the population that is particularly interested in new technologies and solutions emerging on the market, as exemplified by cryptocurrencies. The purpose of this paper is to find an answer to the main research question: What sources of knowledge about cryptocurrencies have students used? Two criteria were taken into account, namely the respondents’ gender and the location of the universities where they studied. The general results showed that students choose modern, preferably well-known sources of knowledge about cryptocurrencies such as popular information websites and social media as well as information provided by their family and friends. The gender analysis showed that the main differences concern the sources of knowledge on cryptocurrencies: popular information websites were chosen more often by men, whereas television and radio were used more frequently by females. Regarding the location of the university, our findings showed that the approach of students to sources of knowledge tends to be similar, regardless of whether they study in Warsaw or Katowice. A difference was found for only one variable, i.e., family and friends. Thus, family and friends were a source of knowledge that students from Warsaw used more frequently than those from Katowice. It may indicate that metropolitan students are more sociable or family-minded.

The article analyses the impact of speculation on the cryptocurrency market. In the introduction, the author interprets the meaning of the speculation and a speculator’s way of thinking. The literature review was broken down into two aspects. The first is to analyse the literature on the subject in terms of the cryptocurrency market. The second is an analysis of the sentiment index, which becomes the primary research method. The analysis of the sentiment value shows a high correlation between the impact of sentiment on the value of cryptocurrencies. Further recommendations are to analyse the sentiment with regard to listed companies (Polish and international) and stock indices (including the forex market).

Transactions involving cryptocurrency are rapidly gaining traction in the United States, prompting the need for regulation. Hence, California legislators proposed the cryptocurrency regulation Assembly Bill 1123. However, based upon the outcome of a virtually identical regulation in New York, this proposed bill is theoretically projected to stifle business growth and potential innovation. This Article focuses on one approach to remedy this by advocating for reform at the federal level and recommending the utilization of the regulatory sandbox as a framework for future regulation.

Son yıllarda, internet ve bilgi teknolojilerindeki gelişmeler uluslararası düzeyde finansal hizmetlerin de evrilmesine yol açmıştır. Böylece fintech ve dijital para gibi bazı yeni kavramlar literatürde yerini almaya başlamıştır. 2009 yılından sonra da blokzincir teknolojisi sayesinde kripto para kavramı Bitcoin ile birlikte popülerlik kazanmıştır.Dahası, kripto para kavramını gerçekten çekici hale getiren olay 2017 yılında on iki aylık dönem içerisinde bir adet Bitcoin’ in fiyatının Amerikan doları karşısında %1.584 değer kazanmasıdır. Bu olay birçok yatırımcıyı ve borsa simsarını kripto para piyasasına çekmiş ve başka kripto paraların da piyasaya arz edilmesini sağlamıştır.Bu çalışmada ise hem kavramın popülerliği hem de kullanım alanı açısından teknik analizin kripto paralar üzerine uygulanması açıklanmaya çalışılmıştır. Bu çalışmada dört temel teknik analiz yöntemi olan RSI, MACD, OBV ve fiyat trendi kullanılarak 2013-2018 aralığındaki fiyat verileri incelenmiştir. Çalışma bulguları kripto paralar üzerine teknik analiz uygulamasının mümkün olabileceğini göstermiştir. Ancak her ne kadar bu mümkün olsa da, her bir para biriminin farklı fiyat seviyeleri ve dalgalanmaya sahip olması sebebiyle tüm kripto paralar için tek bir teknik analiz göstergesi ya da stratejisinin olamayacağı anlaşılmıştır. Teknik analiz göstergelerinin (RSI, MACD ve OBV) fiyat trend takibi ile birlikte uygulanması durumunda ise daha iyi karlılık performası sağlayabileceği gözlemlenmiştir. \n \n-------------------- \nDevelopments of the information and internet technology in recent years lead financial services in international area to evolve. Some new concepts such as fintech and digital-money have been begun to take place in literature. After 2009, the word of “crypto currency”has gained popularity with the appearance of Bitcoin and help of the blockchain technology. In addition to this, the milestone for this term is that Bitcoin appreciated versus to US Dollar by %1584 for 12-month period in 2017. Such a price movement has attracted many investors and traders to the cryptocurrency markets. The aim of this study is to explain implementation of technical analysis on cryptocurrencies together with the popularity of the concept. RSI, MACD, OBV and price trends were used as four general technical analysis methods by using price data covering 2013-2018 period. The results indicate that it is possible to use technical analysis for cryptocurrencies. However, it is understood that there is no accurate or unique strategy for all kind of cryptocurrencies because of their different price levels and volatility. It is observed that technical analysis indicators (RSI, MACD and OBV) would provide better profitability performance if they implemented with price trend tracking.

The concept of procedural fairness plays an important role in the enforcement \nof competition law, which must not only be effective but also fair. Thus, legal \ninstitutions should guarantee a proper level of protection of the values of procedural \nfairness. This paper is dedicated to the possible conflict between the guarantees \nof procedural fairness that find their expression in the right to be heard and in the \nprotection of confidential information.Both guarantees, the right to be heard on the one side, and the protection of \nconfidential information on the other, should be properly balanced. Unlike EU law, \nPolish legislation and jurisprudence proves to be inefficient in this respect. Article \n69 of the Competition Act fails to show clearly what the limits of the protection \nof confidential information are in situations when the right to be heard of other \nparties of antitrust proceedings is at stake. Business secrets are predominantly \nprotected over the right to be heard also in the jurisprudence of Polish courts. \nBy contrast, the Competition Act does not seem to properly protect confidential \ninformation other than business secrets. Such situation poses a risk for the adequate \nlevel of protection of procedural fairness in Polish antitrust enforcement. Moreover, \nneither Polish legislation nor jurisprudence explains to companies what shall prevail \nin the case of a concrete conflict between the protection of business secrets and \nthe right to be heard. An answer to this questions is needed seeing as proof of a \ncompetition law infringement which should be accessible to the parties, can at the \nsame time constitute a business secret.
