Artificial Intelligence dalam Optimasi Supply Chain Management: A Systematic Literature Review (2021–2026)

Perkembangan Artificial Intelligence (AI) telah mendorong transformasi dalam Supply Chain Management (SCM) melalui peningkatan efisiensi operasional, kualitas pengambilan keputusan, dan ketahanan rantai pasok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi perkembangan penelitian AI dalam SCM, teknologi AI yang dominan, manfaat dan tantangan implementasinya, serta peluang penelitian pada periode 2021–2026. Metode yang digunakan adalah Systematic Literature Review (SLR) dengan menganalisis sepuluh artikel yang relevan dari berbagai sumber ilmiah. Data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan narrative synthesis untuk mengidentifikasi pola, persamaan, dan perbedaan hasil penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Machine Learning merupakan teknologi AI yang paling banyak diterapkan, terutama pada demand forecasting, inventory management, optimasi logistik, dan manajemen risiko. Selain itu, perkembangan penelitian juga mengarah pada pemanfaatan Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, Digital Twin, dan integrasi AI dengan Internet of Things serta Blockchain untuk meningkatkan transparansi, fleksibilitas, dan ketahanan rantai pasok. Meskipun implementasi AI memberikan manfaat yang signifikan, masih terdapat tantangan berupa kualitas data, kesiapan infrastruktur digital, keamanan siber, dan kompetensi sumber daya manusia. Penelitian ini memberikan gambaran mengenai tren perkembangan AI dalam SCM sekaligus menjadi referensi bagi pengembangan penelitian dan implementasi AI pada berbagai sektor industri.

Solar Driven Refrigeration Systems in Food Supply Cold Chain: The State-of-the-Art, Challenges, and Environmental Impact

A considerable proportion of perishable goods, including fruits and vegetables, deteriorate prior to reaching customers. Inadequate refrigeration infrastructure, particularly in developing nations with arid climates and markets distant from agricultural sources, accounts for most of these losses. A food cold chain has three primary phases: pre-cooling, cold storage, and refrigerated transportation. All phases of the cold chain rely fundamentally on refrigeration to preserve perishable products at designated temperatures, relative humidity, and CO2 concentrations, thus prolonging their shelf life. Solar-driven or aided refrigeration systems use solar energy to power cooling systems and preserve the food in the cold chain. These systems are especially beneficial in off-grid or developing areas for preserving perishable goods such as fruits, vegetables, and other food items, mitigating postharvest losses that can exceed 30–50% in areas with inconsistent energy supplies. Despite progress in efficiency and scalability, numerous research gaps remain across technological, economic, social, policy, and regional dimensions, including technical aspects, optimization, and integration. There is a need to enhance energy-efficient designs, particularly by managing solar intermittency to address non-uniform cooling, which leads to inconsistent ripening and spoilage, and by integrating sustainable refrigerants to mitigate environmental impact. Further development is necessary for micro-scale, transportable, or decentralized systems designed for small farms, while economic and financing obstacles include high upfront costs and limited financial accessibility. Substantial deficiencies exist in creating affordable models and funding channels for small-scale agriculturalists. Addressing these deficiencies could expedite adoption, thereby reducing global food loss and waste (accounting for 8–10% of GHG emissions) while improving food security. Future research must emphasize multidisciplinary methodologies that amalgamate engineering, economics, and social sciences to provide comprehensive solutions.

Smart Contract-Based Agricultural Food Supply Chain Traceability

The complexity of a supply chain makes product safety or quality issues extremely difficult to track, especially for the basic agricultural food supply chains of people's daily diets. The existing agricultural food supply chains present several major problems, such as numerous participants, inconvenient communication caused by long supply chain cycles, data distrust between participants and the centralized system. The emergence of blockchain technology effectively solves the pain-point problem existing in the traceability system of agricultural food supply chains. This paper proposes a framework based on the consortium and smart contracts to track and trace the workflow of agricultural food supply chains, implement traceability and shareability of supply chains, and break down the information islands between enterprises as much as possible to eliminate the need for the central institutions and agencies and improve the integrity of the transaction records, reliability and security. At the same time, farmers record details of the environment and crop growth data in the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) and store file IPFS hashes in smart contracts, which not only increases data security but also alleviates the blockchain storage explosion problem. This framework has been applied in Shanwei Lvfengyuan Modern Agricultural Development Co., Ltd. Although there are still many defects, the framework has successfully realized functions such as disintermediation and tracing of agricultural product information through QR codes. Thus, the framework proposed in this paper is of great significance and reference value for enterprises to ensure product quality and safety traceability.

The Implementation of Halal Supply Chain With Private Blockchain in Indonesia

Since Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population, the demand for halal products is increasing. Indonesia has not taken the advantage of these opportunities, such as, the implementation of supply chain activities were not integrated with stakeholders like suppliers, factories, transportation, logistics and retailers. This is what has happened in PT Multi Terminal Indonesia warehousing with their halal storage. This paper explains the problem with a private blockchain technology that will help the integration and transparency of every data activities from stakeholders. This paper uses SWOT analysis and Qualitative research to determine the impact and to clearly describe the application of this system. The result of the analysis of the occurrence of collaboration between stakeholders in halal supply chain activities is synergistic and transparent. The use of the Private Blockchain will increase customer trust in halal products which raises awareness of the importance of halal supply chain. Moreover, private blockchain in transportation and logistics activities can be accessed by the customer through smartphones QR code to achieve lean logistics. It changes the mindset of consumers to switch and believe in using products based on the Halal supply chain so that Indonesians escape from the current issue of religion. The writers’ propose is to manage the Halal supply chain with the Private Blockchain in Indonesia by the Government,in this case the designated State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs). To introduce this system the government must socialize the above and below the Line.
