Cryptocurrency Bitcoin is one of the largest investment crypto assets throughout the world with a total market capitalization of 1.35 trillion US Dollars. Bitcoin was created by Satoshi Nakamoto in 2009 with a decentralized blockchain system. Indonesia is still ranked 7th in the world in cryptocurrency adoption, which means Indonesia is still behind other countries. The inhibiting factors are poor government regulations and a lack of public education platforms regarding this new cryptocurrency technology. This research aims to analyze and predict trends in Indonesian people's interest in bitcoin in the context of the 2024 bitcoin halving, taking Google Trends data and then predicting it using a double exponential forecasting algorithm. Related data was collected to analyze community interest patterns using the KDD (Knowledge Discovery in Database) method. Searches with the keyword "bitcoin" reached the day of the 2024 bitcoin halving on April 19, 2024. From the dataset obtained from the 2014-2024 period with a total of 121 records, using the double exponential 29 forecasting algorithm produces test and train RMSE values of 7,184 and 14,907. Meanwhile, the train and test MAPE values are 0.313 and 0.861. The model that has been created is then implemented using the Python Stremlit library so that web-based analysis can be carried out. The predicted peak point value in 09-2024 is 48.5 and the lowest point in 08-2025 is 17.9. It is hoped that this trend analysis can help develop the adoption of crypto assets, especially bitcoin, to educate the public about the importance of bitcoin as a future investment asset, and the government needs to play a role in making crypto adoption easier in Indonesia.
This study addresses the substantial gap in the academic literature on blockchain technology literacy by proposing a Blockchain Technology Literacy Test (BTLT). Through a comprehensive literature review of eight databases, only nine publications with limited focus on blockchain technology literacy were identified. The inconsistency in definitions and predominant emphasis on cryptocurrency literacy further complicate the development of standardized assessments. Based on the results of the literature review and the development of the BTLT, with a focus on terms and technological aspects, an updated list of cryptocurrency literacy questions was proposed as the Cryptocurrency Literacy Test (CLT) to avoid duplications and redundancy in the assessment of relevant blockchain technology and cryptocurrency-related knowledge. The BTLT and CLT aim to distinguish between blockchain technology and cryptocurrency literacy, thereby ensuring comprehensive and accurate assessments. The findings emphasize the need for clear definitions and frameworks within the blockchain ecosystem and call for expanded research to include emerging applications, such as DeFi, DeSci, DAOs, and Web3. This study provides a foundation for future educational efforts and literacy assessments in blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies.
The advent of healthcare delivery drones, a novel unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), has opened the door to a more comprehensive approach to developing smart health services. Internet of Things (IoT)-based healthcare delivery via UAVs has not been fully realized because of a lack of augmentation-aware concepts. Despite community pharmacists' strong clinical expertise and ease of patient access, they cannot provide comprehensive clinical services due to a lack of access to patient data. Blockchain could be a solution if it's concerned about the reliability and security of drone deliveries over untrusted open channels. Hence, this study proposes the Internet of Things and Blockchain Technology-assisted Drone Healthcare Delivery System (IoT-BT-DHDS) for enhancing access to healthcare information in the community pharmacy environment. Ensuring the security of drone operations is crucial to protect users from any breaches that might result in physical and financial loss. This research suggests an oT-BT-DHDS that authenticates and registers the involved entities, such as objects (healthcare supplies), warehouses (healthcare centres), and drones, to address these security concerns and make the delivery progression visible. This research achieves its goals by analyzing several parameters that impact the time and number of transactions required for authentication on the Ethereum platform, which is used to build smart contracts and blockchain. The suggested strategy is shown to be effective by results acquired from a simulated environment compared to alternative models based on an access control ratio of 98.9%, data management ratio of 97.4% and resource utilization ratio of 96.4% to other existing models.

Investing has become a popular activity among the public as it can increase returns from such activities. Currently, there are various investment instruments available such as stocks, bonds, gold, property, and the latest is cryptocurrency. Since its inception in 2008, Bitcoin has emerged as the leading digital currency in terms of market capitalization and continues to attract investor attention. The first Bitcoin transaction occurred in January 2009. More than two years later, various reports estimated that Bitcoin circulation had exceeded 6,5 million with around 10000 users. This has led to a growing number of people interested in investing in Bitcoin. Based on these facts, it is important to predict Bitcoin prices to understand how Bitcoin prices will develop in the future. By predicting future Bitcoin prices, investors can estimate Bitcoin prices from the predicted prices in order to avoid making mistakes in investing and thus prevent significant potential losses. One way to predict Bitcoin prices is by using the Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) method. One of the best models with a composition of 50 neurons and 400 epochs using Adam optimization, produce RMSE of 1027 and MAPE 1,76%, which mean the forecasting model has highly accurate forecasting. Then, to facilitate non-programmer users in forecasting, a web-based Graphical User Interface (GUI) is built using the Streamlit library.
Asset management in the health sector is an important consideration for ensuring asset visibility, security, and preventing asset theft. The distribution of the vaccination is one of the issues that must be addressed optimally, particularly in Indonesia. The vaccine distribution process requires a system that is transparent, accountable, and capable of providing optimal monitoring to ensure the appropriate temperature and humidity of the vaccine boxes distributed. This paper uses the DSRM (Design Science Research Methodology) as the initial basis for the research process. This study produces a conceptual model and architectural design of a blockchain-based vaccine distribution system that is integrated with IoT devices to record temperature and humidity and uses the Ethereum platform to run smart contracts that store various conditions for vaccine validity starting from vaccine batch information, expiration date, and vaccine temperature conditions.

Abstract Human genetics refers to information gathered about the genome or genetic heritage of human individuals. This data includes DNA sequences, genetic variations, mutations, and other information related to individual human genetic traits and characteristics. Human genetic data is obtained through a series of processes, including genetic sequencing, genetic testing, DNA analysis, and genetic mapping. Genetic data, especially in humans, is private data that must be protected by security and confidentiality. Several studies have used Blockchain technology to store data that requires extra security. Blockchain provides solutions for data protection and management with its technological features that are decentralized, encrypted, every transaction can be traced, and anti-tampering or difficult to modify. Research uses Blockchain technology to store and manage genetic data. As research material, human genetic data was acquired from the NCBI repository. The genetic data is stored in Smart contracts on the Ethereum blockchain written using the Solidity programming language. Every transaction and data storage on Ethereum is charged with a fairly expensive fee, known as a gas fee, so this research offers a solution by only storing the signature of the genetic data in the blockchain. The real and large-scale genetic data is stored in the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). The test results of running a smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain that only stores genetic data signatures show a very efficient gas cost because it only stores 256 bits of real genetic data, which can reach gigabytes.

Blockchain technology has captured the attention of various industries due to its potential to revolutionize traditional systems through decentralization, transparency and immutability. This paper examines the emerging trend of integrating blockchain-based decentralized applications (DApps) into the education sector. With blockchain's distributed ledger system, educational institutions can achieve safe, secure and transparent management of student achievements, certifications and credentials. The paper presents the architecture of a system that enables students to build verifiable digital portfolios of educational achievements stored and shared securely using smart contracts and digital tokens.By harnessing the benefits and addressing the challenges of blockchain DAppps in education, we can pave the way for a truly transformative era in the learning experience of tomorrow.
This paper explores the integration of a verification and document management DApp into the core of the Ethereum blockchain and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS). This way, the multi-signature wallets and intelligent contracts introduced help restore many traditional problems based on the secure handling of documents and ensure increased security, data integrity, and easily accessible documents. This DApp will allow such safe, transparent interaction that mandates consensus with multi-sig functionalities during document transactions to ensure the immutability and retrievability of those documents. This implies that the solution would scale using Ethereum and IPFS while offloading pressure off the blockchain to assure high data availability and reliability. Recent performance reviews indicate relevant improvements in the processes related to document management, and this improvement may even have broader implications for the filling implementation in essential sectors that need both a secure and efficient document-handling process.

Cryptocurrency is a digital currency made from sequence code or called blockchain, one of the cryptocurrencies is bitcoin. Prediction is a process that projects or imagines what might happen in the future based on data in the past or factors that influence the current situation. Bitcoin price prediction uses a deep learning approach with the Long Short Term Memory method. Long Short-Term Memory is a type of model from the Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) algorithm, a method designed to process data and can overcome the problem of price movements that have long-term dependencies that cannot be handled by traditional RNN models, the LSTM model has the ability “Remembers” information over long periods of time, so as to recognize patterns and trends. In this study, the prediction period used a dataset from 12 December 2020 to 14 April 2024. The evaluation results for the RMSE method for train data were 17318.40 and for test data were 27921.84 and for the MAPE method for train data it was 3.24% and for test data it was 3.24%. 5.36%. This shows that the RMSE and MAPE values in the data train are relatively small because they are vulnerable to the bitcoin price being too wide.

Since its conceptualization in 2008, blockchain technology has advanced rapidly and been applied in multiple domains. In higher education, blockchain can be applied to develop ICT systems that can revolutionize student accreditation through certificate verification and micro-accreditations, which represent skills and other learning outcomes, in the form of digital/smart badges. While there are multiple studies that highlight the significance of blockchain in higher education and propose digital systems, few of those studies include the evaluation of such proposed systems by real users. As such, the research question of how useful a higher education blockchain system would be for its relevant stakeholders remains largely unanswered. In the research publication at hand, a blockchain-powered higher education platform was applied in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, where it was used and evaluated by students and professors at the school. The evaluation of the platform was positive, and participants found that the smart badge functionality was among the most useful. Finally, the execution and evaluation of the pilot led to several lessons learned and policy recommendations towards dealing with existing barriers and further promoting blockchain in higher education.
Introduction Blockchain technology was first introduced in 2008 as a peer-to-peer electronic payment system. This technology has since attracted widespread attention in the field of scientific research as well as industry. Blockchain has been examined from various aspects. For example, a body of research examines how blockchain's decentralized approach could completely disrupt current business models, financial systems, organizations, and civil governance. Arguably, the clearest evidence of the growth and pervasiveness of this technology is the combined blockchain market capitalization reaching more than 2.6 trillion cryptocurrencies in 2024. In addition, development activity has been steadily growing over the past decade, and numerous projects have been launched to improve the core design of the blockchain (Bitcoin) (such as Ethereum, Kava, and Solana blockchains, etc.). Several articles have systematically reviewed the studies conducted in the field of blockchain in the country using the meta-combination method, all of which focus on the review of foreign articles. Due to the growth and widespread use of blockchain technology in the country and the increase in the scope of domestic research related to it, a systematic review of the research conducted inside the country also seemed necessary. In this regard, the aim of this article is to systematically review internal articles in the blockchain field, focusing on the human-computer interaction (HCI) field of study. Methods and Materoal In this research, we have used the qualitative meta-method for a systematic review of blockchain research. A systematic review is a method of identifying, evaluating, and interpreting past research related to a research question, topic area, or phenomenon of interest. The focus of this review is to summarize the HCI literature on blockchain technology. We organized this literature review in four comprehensive steps, following the PRISMA systematic review protocol. Resultss and Discussion We found that the articles in our sample adopted one of the following two perspectives. They conducted their research either on blockchain technology (74 articles, 66) or specifically on cryptocurrencies (37 articles, 34). Articles related to blockchain technology mainly discuss the understanding of users' motivation, perceived risks and the application of this technology, and articles related to cryptocurrencies also deal more with the jurisprudential and legal aspects of cryptocurrencies and the analysis of transaction risks and user experience. Most empirical studies that deal with people evolve around cryptocurrency, while contributions to blockchain often lead to products or evaluations of financial and administrative systems. After providing an overview of blockchain research in the HCI community, we present and discuss the salient themes that emerged from the literature review. We identified 4 main themes: Decentralized economy and smart contracts (13 articles, 12) Users' understanding and participation of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies (48 articles, 43) Application of blockchain technology in a specific field (34 articles, 31) Jurisprudence and legal issues around blockchain and cryptocurrencies (16 articles, 14). Conclusion After completing the systematic review of domestic articles, the most interesting point for us is the difference between domestic articles and international topics. As mentioned in some parts of the article, there are three general interests in the international research space that are less observed in domestic research. The first is issues related to the concept of trust in blockchain technologies. The second is the issues related to technical infrastructure and generally the way of socio-technical interactions in society, and the third is related to blockchain-based micro-projects such as Ethereum, Kava, Solana, etc., which are not considered in Iran. The blockchain ecosystem has experienced rapid growth over the past decade. While until recently, Ethereum was the only widely used blockchain platform supporting decentralized applications, today several new blockchains (such as Solana, Kava, Polkadot, Terra, etc.) have been launched for decentralized applications. Many believe that this new generation of blockchains, which now offer instant transactions with low transaction fees, promises the third generation of the web. Web 1.0 allowed users to read (consume) content on the Internet. Web 2.0 added authoring options and the ability to generate content, thereby enabling rich interactive Internet applications. Powered by blockchain, Web 3.0 now adds the ability to own, create, and distribute digital assets. The first signs of this paradigm shift are the emergence of decentralized finance (DeFi) and non-fungible tokens (NFT), which so far account for more than two-thirds of transactions on the Ethereum blockchain and are driving user adoption of Ethereum. These topics and developments are being noticed by researchers all over the world, but we did not find any study in these fields inside the country. This issue is particularly important from the aspect that Web 3.0 challenges human interaction and cooperation on the Internet and, in a sense, mixes the human and technological space together. The need to pay attention to these research fields as well as the acceptance of interdisciplinary studies (specifically socio-technical studies) should be taken into account in order to open a gate for understanding the fast-paced global technological developments in the space of social studies and a field for presenting theories. To provide a new society in accordance with the socio-cultural context of Iranian society.
The evolution of the Internet has shifted from centralised to decentralised systems, particularly after the financial crisis in 2008. The Internet disrupts traditional financial systems and the consequent shift towards Blockchain Technology (BCT) for more transparent and accountable business practices. It outlines BCT’s origins and transformative potential in various domains. Thus, this study aims to investigate challenges in BCT adoption in various domains. This study adopted a bibliometric analysis based on the data obtained from the Scopus database. Based on the keywords used, which are related to BCT adoption in the article title, the study obtains 229 documents for further analysis. Various tools have been employed, such as Microsoft Excel to conduct the frequency analysis and VOSviewer for data visualisation analysis. This study reports the results using standard bibliometric indicators such as publication year, document type, source type, source title, languages, subject area, keywords analysis, geographical distribution, authorship, active institutions, and citation analysis. The analysis reveals that studies on BCT integration with the Internet of Things (IoT) suggest the highest cites followed by BCT adoption challenges. Since 2021, there has been a rapid accumulation of citations, highlighting the ongoing relevance and interest in BCT across diverse fields. Indonesia leads in academic contributions to BCT, while the United States excels in citation impact. Notably, China, Australia, Jordan, and Malaysia are interested in adopting BCT in Asia. In Europe, the United Kingdom stands out alongside Romania and Belgium for their commitment to the study as well. Prominent authors and keywords highlight BCT’s integration with IoT and supply chain. Findings underscore global academic engagement with BCT challenges and applications, offering a foundation for future research on practical hurdles, regulations, and technological intersections. Blockchain is just one of many IR4.0 technologies that will enhance governance when coupled with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Big Data Analytics. Future research should focus deeper on practical challenges, regulations, and intersections of BCT with other technologies, building upon the findings of this analysis.
Recognizing the necessity to preserve the integrity and good name of degrees awarded by Yemeni universities. It should provide an efficient way of verifying certificates. The effectiveness of the conventional method of confirming the validity of certificates in reducing fraud has not been very strong. Therefore, it is necessary to stop this kind of fraud by using blockchain technology, which has several benefits, such as encryption, sharing of data, and the capacity to store information as permanent data that cannot be altered. Low latency and low cost will be available for the issuance, sharing, and verification of these certifications in universities if the suggested system is implemented. The paper presents the proposed framework, which uses smart contracts in the Ethereum blockchain and a distributed peer-to-peer network (filebase) for certification verification by a certificate’s hash immediately without waiting for the facility’s response. It also contains an estimate of the average cost of publishing a certificate. It also frees students from having to constantly carry paper copies of their documents by enabling them to access them via a certificate's hash. Furthermore, there is no extra cost for the verification process, and it does not require an Ethereum network account.

Information about healthcare is crucial for both individuals and service providers. It is essential to increase the safe sharing and upkeep of electronic healthcare records (EHR). To communicate health data across healthcare stakeholders, EHR systems have traditionally depended on a centralized system (such as the cloud), which may have exposed undisclosed and secret persistent intelligence. EHR has had trouble addressing the needs of many participants and approaches in relationships of separation, security, and supplementary legal requirements. Blockchain is a distributed, decentralized journal system that can offer capabilities for safe, verified, and unchangeable data transfer. Blockchain uses consistent cryptographic techniques (hashes) to construct a distributed ledger system that enables distributed activity without the need for a central authority. Due to the immutability of a blockchain network, data exploitation is challenging and obvious. We provide a a blockchain-based architecture that uses the Proof of Stake (POS) cryptographic consensus mechanism to authenticate user identification and secure EHR exchange amongst multiple electronic healthcare systems. In order to safeguard the data that was outsourced This study suggests the use of Secure Partially Homomorphic Encryption (SPHE), which allows users to multiply and divide the ciphertext. The cloud environment&s;s access control policy is more adaptable. The results demonstrate that, in terms of superpower use, authenticity, and medical data protection, the suggested technique outperforms the alternatives.

Introduction: Patients’ electronic health records (EHRs) stored in the cloud are more likely to suffer from data breaches. Data security risks arise from EHRs relying on centralised databases, as this approach places the responsibility for data protection on the user. Indeed, it leaves data security to a single organisation, leaving it open to intrusion by its workers. Maintaining the privacy and integrity of patient information is of utmost importance when interacting with and integrating with EHR systems. Methods: Therefore, in order to find the best blockchain framework for trustworthy electronic health records (EHRs), a precise method for comparing the effects of several current blockchain systems is required. Data from electronic health record applications is encrypted and saved in the cloud using IPFS off-chain as part of this study, following a design that is consistent with patient data management. To secure electronic health record data, the system uses a hierarchical interdependency approach for block construction and framework design. Results: This research is focused on finding a solution to the issue of privacy leaking in data sharing. To ensure the privacy of user’s data, the healthcare system utilises a multilevel authentication mechanism and an encryption technique that is based on hierarchical interdependency attributes. Smart contracts have been used to establish hierarchical access control for various Internet of Things systems, guaranteeing control over data access. This paper describes how the system's scalability, transaction latency, and throughput may be improved by implementing a modified proof-of-stake (POS) security protocol in healthcare application 5.0. This helps to secure users' privacy and security. Conclusion: In comparison to more conventional blockchain solutions, the experimental results demonstrate improvements in efficiency and security in terms of variables such as block size, upload time, transaction range, and evaluation metrics such as transaction delay.
