Implementation of Smart Contracts Ethereum Blockchain in Web-Based Electronic Voting (e-voting)

The increasing of digital technology today has helped many people to fulfill their needs. But the election system, still conventionally using paper in its implementation. Elections in general still use a centralized system, where there is an organization that manages it. Some of the problems that may occur in traditional electoral systems are that there are organizations that have full control over the database and system, so the possibility of hacking the database is quite a big opportunity.Blockchain innovation is one arrangement that can be utilized in light of the fact that it has a decentralized framework and the whole database is duplicated by all clients. Blockchain itself has been used by Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrency which is known as a decentralized system. By using the blockchain in database recording on an e-voting system can reduce one source of fraud that is database manipulation. This study discusses the recording of voting data using blockchain technology. The implementation of Smart Contracts contained in the Ethereum Blockchain will be implemented to create this voting system

<p><em>Market place </em>bitcoin adalah suatu bentuk pasar komoditas tempat bertemunya penjual dan pembeli bitcoin, meskipun tidak benar-benar berwujud seperti pasar yang biasa kita kenal. Akan tetapi, terdapat berbagai hambatan yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dan kestabilan <em>profit </em>saat <em>trading </em>manual di pasar bitcoin<em> </em>yaitu kurangnya pengalaman, tekanan psikologis, seperti rasa serakah, terlalu percaya diri, tidak sabar, emosi, dan juga <em>trader </em>harus terus-menerus di depan komputer untuk menjaga dan mengkontrol situasi di pasar. Pembuatan aplikasi<em> </em>berisi tentang sistem <em>trading </em>menggunakan indikator <em>Moving Average,</em> <em>Relative Strenght Index, </em>dan <em>Bollinger Bands. </em>Aplikasi ini dibuat untuk di implementasikan dalam <em>Website </em>dengan bahasa <em>PHP. AJAX </em>yang diaplikasikan pada Aplikasi<em> </em>sekaligus sebagai <em>Function </em>agar data yang didapat secara <em>realtime. </em>Hasil dari perancangan aplikasi ini telah tercipta sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu <em>trader </em>dan berguna untuk mempermudah kinerja <em>trader </em>di pasar bitcoin. Pengguna aplikasi ini adalah para <em>user </em>yang telah melakukan <em>registrasi </em>pada <em>market place</em> dengan membuka <em>account</em>, tidak terbatas pada trader pemula, juga <em>trader </em>professional.</p>

Application of Blockchain Technology for iLearning Student Assessment

Blockchain is the core technology used to create cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. As one part of the fourth industrial Revolution since the invention of steam engines, electricity, and information technology, blockchain technology has begun to be applied in areas such as finance, judiciary, and trade. Blockchain technology uses decentralized, distributed and transparency techniques for data security. This research aims to determine the implementation of blockchain technology in the field of education, especially in the Data Security section. The study uses two methods namely the mind mapping method and literature review. The results of this study showed that with the presence of blockchain technology, the data is more secure from attacks from both inside and outside because it passes through two levels of security, namely encryption and decentralized data.

There is no uncertainty that the chroma currency is very popular for the transaction information stored in the block of blocks. To initiate the importance of blocking, there is only one distributed ledger in which data is stored, since many of the centers in the blockchain network limit enough records for these records. This document proposes a decision-making framework based on innovation to create a secure, unjustifiable, accurate and transparent framework for voter privacy. In addition, it is voted and declared in this context that the race has a short period of time, since it is automatically registered in the table. This framework also gives society confidence in its legislation when applying this technique. In this framework, an administrator can add a candidate and a voter to the block. In different hands, a voter can log into the framework and then decide in favor of a candidate that the details of the vote should be stored in the block. In addition, each square in the blockchain innovation that relates to the previous square contains the hash of the previous square, and each square contains explicit data based on the square footage. The hub is connected by a peer network in this framework, with all the hubs in the block site network that have a complete duplicate block.

Pemilihan Suara Secara Elektronis Menggunakan Sistem Terdesentralisasi Berbasis Blockchain Ethereum merupakan suatu sistem yang dibuat dalam bentuk aplikasi yang dapat digunakan dalam pemilihan umum. Hal ini dilakukan untuk menyelesaikan masalah yang dimiliki oleh sistem pemilihan suara secara elektronis yang konvensional dimana integritas data belum terjamin dan data hasil suara kemungkinan dapat dirubah oleh pihak tertentu. Masalah ini dapat diselesaikan dengan membuat sistem pemilihan suara secara elektronik yang menyimpan data hasil suara pada blockchain agar integritas data dapat terjamin. Pembuatan sistem ini dilakukan menggunakan bahasa Solidity, bahasa pemrograman yang sudah Turing Complete pada Ethereum. Source code yang dijalankan akan di kompilasi menjadi Bytecode yang kemudian dijalankan pada Ethereum Virtual Machine. Program yang dibuat tersebut kemudian akan di desentralisasi kan menggunakan Blockchain. Hasil nya adalah sistem Electronic Voting yang terdesentralisasi. Sistem ini dapat diakses melalui website https://pemilurt.herokuapp.com/.                                                                                                               Abstract Electronic Voting Using Decentralised System Based On Ethereum’s Blockchain is a system made in the form of application used for Electronic Voting. This is done to solve the current problem on conventional electronic voting system where the integrity of the data can’t be ascertain and the result of the vote can be tampered malicious actors. To solve this problem, an electronic voting system will be built that store the data of election results on blockchain to ensure the integrity of the data. The creation of the system involves using the Solidity language, a Turing Complete programming language used on Ethereum. Source code that will be run will first need to be compiled into Bytecode, which will then in turn run on Ethereum Virtual Machine. The finished program will then be decentralised using Blockchain. The result will be a decentralised Electronic Voting system that can be accessed from the website https://pemilurt.herokuapp.com/.

With trade conducted through the internet, the transaction process is carried out on a traditional or directly, is now turning to the digital transaction process through Internet. The transaction process carried out digitally requires accuracy, security, and good trust between seller and buyer. Management Customer Relations or better known as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is one model that can be used in maintaining the relationship between the customer and the company. Blockchain technology is technology that is able to maintain the transaction process, to maintain management efficiency identity, tracking system implementation, identifying product authenticity, and synchronization recording data to all parties, is expected to increase trust and the relationship between the customer and the seller.

BLOCKCHAIN BASED PROPERTY REGISTRATION USING CONCEPT OF SMART CONTRACT is a “simple Dapp based on the ethereum blockchain. It can replace the current approach. Here the land owner(Buyer) registers the land details along with the land value by providing digitalised documents. Only a registrar or government authority who is uncharged as the admin can do the registration process. Lands coming under a area (eg., a village) can register to the system only through the admin(registrar) assigned to that area. The smart contract has been created in a way that the owner has to transfer his full asset(data or documents) to the buyer and no partial transaction of the asset is allowed. Even though the registration process requires a government authority, the entire process is transparent and the transaction happens between the the two clients without any intermediaries

APLIKASI PREDIKSI JANGKA PENDEK HARGA BITCOIN MENGGUNAKAN METODE ARIMA

Bitcoin merupakan mata uang digital yang sekarang paling banyak digunakan. Perubahan harga yang sewaktu-waktu dapat berubah membuat pengguna bitcoin harus teliti ketika melakukan penukaran. Kepopuleran bitcoin terus meningkat dan menjadi aset untuk investasi bagi para penggunanya. Untuk mengatasi perubahan harga yang tidak menentu maka dibutuhkan sebuah aplikasi prediksi harga bitcoin untuk membantu para penggunanya dalam memprediksi harga bitcoin kedepannya. Prediksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) yang mampu menghasilkan tingkat akurasi tinggi dalam prediksi jangka pendek. Metode ini mengabaikan variabel independen dalam membuat prediksi, sehingga cocok untuk data statistik saling terhubung serta memiliki beberapa asumsi yang harus dipenuhi seperti autokorelasi, trend, maupun musiman. Evaluasi hasil prediksi menggunakan Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). Hasil pengujian menujukkan bahwa model ARIMA (3,1,3) menghasilkan prediksi dengan nilai MAPE terkecil daripada kandidat model lainnya. Rata-rata nilai MAPE yang dihasilkan adalah sebesar 0,84 dan rentang nilai 1,34 untuk prediksi hari pertama dan 0,98 untuk prediksi hari ketujuh. Dengan demikian model ARIMA (3,1,3) mampu menghasilkan prediksi dengan akurasi yang baik dan layak untuk digunakan sebagai metode prediksi bitcoin untuk satu sampai tujuh hari kedepan.

Di saat kita terus bergerak terhadap sebuah dunia yang lebih canggih, salah satu hal yang tetap kita lakukan secara tradisional adalah voting. Melihat bagaimana tersebarnya literasi komputer, terasa lebih mengejutkan mengapa kita belum mengimplementasikan e-voting secara luas. Voting adalah sesuatu yang sangat berkembang jika didigitalisasikan. Hal ini dapat menghemat banyak usaha, kertas, dan tenaga kerja. Dan untungnya bagi kita, teknologi blockchain yang sedang berkembang adalah teknologi yang tepat untuk merealisasikan hal ini. Belakangan ini, penggunaan teknologi blockchain telah menyaksikan peningkatan yang tajam, terutama karena keunggulan yang ditawarkan. Blockchain juga memiliki banyak potensial dalam masa depan yang terdesentralisir. Dalam riset ini, sebuah blockchain Ethereum diintegrasikan kedalam sebuah sistem e-voting dengan harapan jika menggunakan sistem ini, pemilihan umum dapat dilakukan lebih efisien, efektif, terdesentralisir, transparan, dan bebas penipuan. Ganache digunakan untuk mensimulasikan jaringan Ethereum, dan Metamask digunakan sebagai wallet untuk menangani transaksi yang dilakukan. Aplikasi yang dikembangkan mensimulasikan Ethereum Virtual Network secara local dan smart contracts nya dapat dijalankan di blockchain. Tampilan aplikasinya kemudian dapat berkomunikasi dengan blockchain nya dengan bantuan Web3.js yang dapat mengambil dan menulis data secara permanen ke blockchain, sambil melakukan hot reload tampilannya untuk setiap transaksi yang ditambahkan kedalam perhitungan suara. Walau demikian, diperlukan riset dan pengembangan lanjut agar aplikasi ini dapat diadopsi kedalam penggunaan dunia nyata. As we keep on moving forward towards a more sophisticated world, one of the things remained being done mostly traditionally is voting. Considering how widespread computer literacy has been, it is more surprising that we have not implement e-voting widely yet. Voting is one of the things that would improve greatly should it be digitalized. It could save a lot of work, paper, and manual labour. And luckily for us, the emerging blockchain is just the right technology to make that a reality. Lately, blockchain technologies have seen a significant boom, mostly due to the many advantages it offers that could be applied in just about every aspects. Blockchain is also seeing huge potentials in a future of decentralization. In this research, an Ethereum Blockchain is integrated into an e-voting system in hopes that upon using this system, election could be done more efficiently, effectively, decentralized, transparent, and fraud-proof. Ganache is used to simulate the Ethereum network, while Metamask is used as the wallet to handle the transactions performed. The developed application simulates the Ethereum Virtual Machine locally and the smart contracts can be successfully deployed to the blockchain. The application interface then can communicate with the blockchain with the help of Web3.js that it could fetch and write data immutably to the blockchain, successfully hot reloading the interface with every transaction added to keep track of the vote count. In spite of that, further research and development is needed for this application to be adopted into real world use.

The commercial real estate (CRE) industry appears to take pride in keeping several aspects of its operations private, such as comparable lease rental rates, property prices, and valuations, to create a possible competitive advantage. However, secrets are hard to keep and may not even be desired in today’s hyperconnected and digitized world. In response to greater demand for transparency, technology advancements and the disintermediation by startups are gradually making some of this information public. As a result, property-related information is increasingly available in digital and paper form. However, a significant portion of the digitized information is hosted on disparate systems, which results in a lack of transparency and efficiency, and a higher incidence of inaccuracies that creates a greater potential for fraudulence.[1] This paper aims to present the Blockchain and smart contract for a specific domain which is real estate. Currently, the real estate business online is at risk of fraudulence. The main objective of this project is to create a platform to maintain transparency in the real estate world so that no fraudulent activities can happen due to false contracts. Goal is to create tamper proof systems and to remove third party reliability for transactions. Consensus algorithms such as Proof of Work and Proof of Authority can be used to achieve consensus in the network. Blockchain uses Proof of work concept to ensure transaction denial thus helping remove denial of services. Proof of authority on the other hand ensures only authorized smart contracts pass the system.

To improve quality, use blockchain on the LTAIschedule on the Alphabet Incubator website. Teknologi yang semakin berkembang di era globalisasi saat ini salah satunya yaitu e-voting. Hal yang sering dilakukan oleh masyarakat indonesia dalam melakukan e-voting adalah memiliki ketua dalam suatu jabatan contoh paling besar yaitu presiden. Dengan adanya e-voting akan sangat mudah dilaukan. Tetapi selalu ada permasalahan yang terjadi pada hasil pemilihan kandidat yang bisa dimanipulasi oleh siapa saja. Sehingga dari permasalahan yang terjadi dilakukan penelitian terhadap hasil pemilihan untuk mengurangi kecurangan pada pemilihan. Oleh kaena itu, penulis melakukan pengujian pengamanan hasil pemilihan, Dengan melakukan pengujian dengan bahasa pemrogaman Solidity dan smart contract menghasilkan code unik pada setiap pemilihan baru. Sehingga manipulasi hasil pemilihan tidak akan bisa dilakukan karena setiap pemilih hanya memiliki satu account dan satu address blockchain. Dari hasil pengujian penulis lakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa smart contract blockchain bisa digunakan untuk membuktikan hasil peilihan yang aman dan menciptakan e-voting yang bersifat jurdil

Analisis Proses Sistem Untuk Implementasi Interplanetary File System (ipfs) Pada Smart Contract Ethereum

Abstrak File sharing memang sangat berguna untuk berkomunikasi dan juga bertukar data, data yang dimaksud bisa berupa angka, sumber, skala dan juga suatu informasi yang penting untuk dijaga keamanannya. Dikarenakan saat ini semakin banyak teknologi yang menunjang file sharing, maka salah satu solusi untuk menjaga kemanan dari suatu data adalah Interpanetary File System (IPFS). IPFS hadir untuk memberikan solusi permasalahan sebagai sistem file terdistribusi peer-to-peer yang secure dengan menggunakan sistem file terenskripsi (hash) yang menghubungkan semua perangkat komputasi dengan sistem file yang sama. Blockchain atau dapat disebut sebagai teknologi pembukuan terdistribusi Distributed Ledger Technologi (DLT) merupakan suatu sistem untuk menyimpan informasi yang disebarluaskan pada komputer agar informasi lebih aman dan terjaga untuk mencegah terjadinya pengambilan data dari orang – orang yang ingin mengambil tanpa izin. Selain penyimpanan nya yang secure blockchain juga berguna untuk menyimpan data yang lebih sedikit, seperti informasi nilai hash, transaksi dan juga metadata. Untuk mengimplementasikan IPFS pada smart contract ethereum kita harus menganalisis proses sistem nya untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses transaksi maupun penyimpanan data, smart contract yaitu sistem untuk membantu dalam menerima dan mengirimkan data. Ethereum yaitu sebuah platform berbasis blockchain. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui proses sistem untuk IPFS agar smart contract ethereum dapat berjalan dengan baik dan sebagaimana mestinya. Kata Kunci : Blockchain,Smart Contract, Ethereum, Peer-to-peer, Proses Sistem Abstract File sharing is really very useful for communicating and also exchanging data, the data in question can be in the form of numbers, sources, scales and also information that is important to maintain security. Because currently more and more technology is supporting file sharing, one of the solutions to safeguarding data from is Interpanetary File System (IPFS). IPFS is here to provide solutions to problems as a secure distributed peer-to-peer file system using an encrypted file system (hash) that connects all computing devices with the same file system. Blockchain or can be referred to as bookkeeping technology distributed Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) is a system for storing information that is disseminated on a computer so that information is safer and safer to prevent data retrieval from people who want to take it without permission. Besides the storage, the secure blockchain is also useful for storing less data, such as hash value information, transactions and also metadata. To implement IPFS on smart contract ethereum we have to analyze the system process to find out how the transaction process and data storage, smart contract, is a system to assist in receiving and sending data. Ethereum is a blockchain based platform. Therefore, this study was conducted to determine the system process for IPFS so that the smart contract ethereum can run properly and properly. Analisis Dan Implementasi Komunikasi Antar Node Ipfs (interplanetary File System) Pada Smart Contract Ethereum

Abstrak Kontrak tertulis mempunyai beberapa kelemahan yaitu kontrak dapat hilang dan rusak, tidak hemat biaya dan salah satu pihak bisa saja melakukan kecurangan. Solusi untuk itu adalah menggunakan smart contract Ethereum. Smart contract Ethereum merupakan protokol komputer yang berfungsi untuk memfasilitasi, memverifikasi, atau menegakakan negoisasi secara digital yang ditulis melalui kode program. Smart contract bekerja tanpa melalui pihak ketiga dan memiliki proses transaksi yang kredibel sehingga tidak bisa dilacak ataupun diubah. Namun teknologi Blockchain tidak cocok untuk menyimpan data dalam jumlah besar dan biaya mahal, maka penulis mengkombinasikan teknologi IPFS pada Ethereum Blockchain. Jadi pada Ethereum Blockchain hanya menyimpan hash file nya saja, kemudian hash file ini dapat dihubungkan dengan file pada IPFS untuk mengaksesnya. Pada penelitian ini dibangun sebuah sistem DApp (Decentralized applications) berbasis web yang menerapkan IPFS pada smart contract Ethereum serta menggunakan metode Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC). Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah pembahasan mengenai integritas data dan Qualitas of Service (QoS) komunikasi antar node IPFS pada smart contract Ethereum sebagai acuan untuk implementasi pada perusahaan. Dengan hasil implementasi tersebut diperoleh bahwa integritas data yang dimiliki oleh IPFS sangat baik dengan memenuhi aspek information security dan memiliki Quality of Service dengan nilai rata – rata throughput sebesar 56.40 Kbps, 65.80 Kbps, dan 66.31 Kbps, untuk nilai rata – rata packet loss sebesar 1.92%, 1.57% dan 0.85%, sedangkan untuk nilai rata – rata delay sebesar 24.78 ms, 25.87 ms dan 20.17 ms dengan nilai rata – rata indeks Quality of Service yaitu 3 yang memenuhi kategori memuaskan berdasarkan standar THIPON. Kata Kunci : Blockchain, Smart Contract, Ethereum, IPFS, Node, Integirtas Data, Quality of Service (QoS) Abstract A written contract has several weaknesses, the contract can be lost and damaged, it is not cost effective and one party can commit fraud. The solution for that is to use the smart contract Ethereum. Smart contract Ethereum is a computer protocol that functions to facilitate, verify, or enforce digital negotiations written through the program code. Smart contract works without going through a third party and has a credible transaction process so that it cannot be tracked or changed. But Blockchain technology is not suitable for storing large amounts of data and expensive costs, so the author combines IPFS technology on Ethereum Blockchain. So the Ethereum Blockchain only stores the hash of the file, then the hash of this file can be connected to the file on IPFS to access it. In this study a web-based DApp (Decentralized applications) system was built that implemented IPFS on the smart contract Ethereum and used the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The final result of this study is a discussion of data integrity and Quality of Service (QoS) communication between IPFS nodes on the smart contract Ethereum as a reference for implementation of the company. With the results of the implementation it was found that the data integrity possessed by IPFS was very good by fulfilling aspects of information security and having Quality of Service with average throughput values of 56.40 Kbps, 65.80 Kbps, and 66.31 Kbps, for average packet loss values of 1.92 %, 1.57% and 0.85%, while the average value of delay is 24.78 ms, 25.87 ms and 20.17 ms with the average value of the Quality of Service index which is 3 which satisfies the satisfying category based on THIPON standards. In economic development, transactions have become the routine of the people. Currently there are many transactions that are growing, one of which is Bitcoin. Bitcoin is one of the technologies of cryptocurreny which is then used. Bitcoin is a digital currency in the open source P2P payment network system. But the value of the Bitcoin body is not fixed, Bitcoin values often change over time. One of the causes of changing the value of Bitcoin is VGA. This role of VGA card to process Bitcoin encryption data because GPU (brain of VGA) has more core to process CPU, increase Bitcoin value and influence graphics card price. In this paper will rise the value of rising and falling value of Bitcoin which affects the price of the graphics card.Keyword: Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, VGA, GPUAbstrakDalam perkembangan ekonomi, transaksi sudah menjadi rutinitas masyarat. Bitcoin adalah mata uang digital yang berada di dalam system jaringan pembayaran open source P2P. Namun nilai dari suatu Bitcoin tidak tetap, nilai Bitcoin sering berubah seiring berjalannya waktu. Salah satu penyebab berubahnya nilai dari Bitcoin adalah VGA. Peran VGA card ini untuk memproses enkripsi data Bitcoin karena GPU (otak dari VGA) mempunyai core yang lebih banyak untuk memproses instruksi dalam satu waktu dibandingkan CPU, sehingga naiknya nilai Bitcoin juga mempengaruhi harga kartu grafis. Dalam paper ini akan mengevaluasi perbandingan naik dan turunnya nilai Bitcoin yang mempengaruhi harga kartu grafis.Kata Kunci: Bitcoin, Cryptocurrency, VGA, GPU

APLIKASI PERAMALAN KURS BITCOIN-RUPIAH DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE DOUBLE EXPONENTIAL SMOOTHING

Perkembangan teknologi meghadirkan banyak inovasi. Salah satu inovasi teknologi adalah berkembangnya Cryptocurrency atau mata uang Kripto. Salah satu jenis Cryptocurrency adalah Bitcoin. Karena beberapa faktor, Bitcoin menjadi terkenal di seluruh dunia, sehingga sering diperdagangkan layaknya perdagangan mata uang pada umumya. Namun karena belum adanya regulasi dari pemerintah, membuat harga bitcoin menjadi tidak terkendali sehingga sering terjadi fluktuasi besar besaran. Metode Double Exponential Smoothing adalah sebuah metode yang sering diguakan dalam kebutuhan Forecastng. Metode ini memanfaatka data historis pada priode tertentu dalam proses prediksi. Untuk metode ini akan diuji dalam sebuah rancangan dan pengembangan system berbasis web, dimana sampel data akan di kalkulasikan dengan Metode Double Exponential Smoothing. Penelitian ini menguji sekitar 5 data setiap harinya selama 10 hari, dengan parameter a (alpha) 0.4035. menghasilkan tingkat akurasi senilai 70%. Hasil peramalan itu akan di sajikan dalam bentuk tabel dan grafik. Key Words : Bitcoin, Forecasting, Double Exponential Smoothing, Kurs, Cryptocurrency

Design of Land Administration and Title Registration Model Based on Blockchain Technology

Land administration and title registration system is the system for storing land title information and managing<br>transactions involving land titles. Due to the sensitivity of land issues, land administration and title registration<br>system should be strong to avoid any document forgery, available all the time, and take a short time to complete<br>tasks. Thus, this study aims at designing a model for such system based on blockchain technology. The proposed<br>model is designed using UML diagrams and then tested for verification using statistical usage models (Markov<br>chains). The proposed model integrates the Integrated Land Management Information System (ILMIS) with<br>factom and bitcoin blockchains which enables encryption of information from ILMIS to get the fingerprint<br>information of each land title and store it to the blockchains. The model further encrypts the land information<br>from ILMIS when needed and then compare it with fingerprints from blockchains for verification. Such<br>implementation of the proposed model will help ILMIS to have the capability of providing tamper proof for<br>stored data, providing the self-notarization mechanism, and availability of evidence for the land title from<br>distributed databases. Furthermore, the society is expected to benefit from this study as the time and cost for<br>registering land title will decrease and the possibilities of a piece of land having more than one owner will not be<br>there.

Automation of Singapore general election polling process by ethereum smart contract

Blockchain, as an emerging technology, has become one of the hottest issues of discussion among researchers and businessmen. Different from traditional centralized database architecture where applications use central servers and databases under the authority’s control for information processing, blockchain proposes distributed digital ledgers to store data. This project explores the possibility of using blockchain technology to automate the Singapore general election polling process. Ethereum is chosen to be the blockchain protocol in this case due to its capability in executing smart contracts. For this approach, a smart contract defining general election process will be deployed to a Ethereum blockchain. Users will then connect to the network to monitor the contract. The main advantage of blockchain over the traditional client-server model in this context is system transparency and integrity which enhances the trust level citizens can place on the polling process. However, the fully distributed blockchain approach requires a huge amount of citizen data to be transferred to the distributed ledger for identity verification, which is practically infeasible in a short run due to the amount of work involved as well as citizens’ concern over privacy. In the eyes of this consideration, this project proposes a hybrid model combining the traditional centralized approach for identity verification and access control and the distributed approach for voting.

User Experience Evaluation on the Cryptocurrency Website by Trust Aspect

A portal into the public ledger cryptocurrency makes a competition of the best web sites and easily trusted by the public. These are believed to constitute a measurable dimensions of User Experience (UX). This study aims to evaluate the user experience of the use of the three web sites most frequenty accessed cryptocurrency from Indonesia. The evaluation conducted aimed at knowing the factors that influence user trust through the design of the interface and can be installed on a new design. Methods include Performance Metrics, Post-Task Rating, Post-Session Rating, and Experiential Overview and eye-tracking device. Based on the results of research, in the overall evaluation of the web site, the web site is the most superior of Indodax. The results of the evaluation are then applied on a new design using the software Invision and examined again to see a comparison of the respondent at the time of first use. The result of the research is the assessment, recommendations, and design the look of the web site cryptocurrency are trustworthy based on user experience.

A Survey on Feasibility and Suitability of Blockchain Techniques for the E-Voting Systems

In the second decade of the 21st century, blockchain definitely became one of the most trending computational technologies. This research aims to question the feasibility and suitability of using blockchain technology within e-voting systems, regarding both technical and non-technical aspects. In today's world, although the course of this spreading is considerably slow, several countries already use means of e-voting due to many social and economic reasons, which we further investigated. Nevertheless, the number of countries offering various e-government solutions, apart from e-voting, is significantly high. E-voting systems, naturally, require much more attention and assurance regarding potential security and anonymity issues, since voting is one of the few extremely critical governmental processes. Nevertheless, e-voting is not purely a governmental service, but many companies and nonprofit organizations would benefit the cost-efficiency, scalability, remote accessibility, and ease of use that it provides. Blockchain technology is claimed to be able to address some, obviously not all, important security concerns, including anonymity, confidentiality, integrity, and non-repudiation. The analysis results presented in this article mostly confirm these claims.

Implementasi Teknologi Nfc Pada Ponsel Pintar Sebagai Agen Autentikasi Dalam Sistem E-Vote

Sistem pemungutan suara di Indonesia yang lebih dikenal dengan nama pemilihan umum (pemilu) sampai saat ini masih dilaksanakan secara manual. Dalam sistem tersebut, dibutuhkan waktu yang lama serta tenaga yang besar untuk menghitung hasil dari pemlihan umum tersebut. Sistem manual juga memiliki banyak kelemahan yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh pihak tertentu untuk memanipulasi hasil pemilihan umum . Untuk mengatasi masalah ini, salah satu solusinya adalah dengan menerapkan sistem pemilihan umum dengan sistem berbasis perangkat elektronik yang lebih dikenal dengan istilah E-Vote . Berbagai macam metode telah diterapkan dalam sistem E-Vote untuk mengatasi kecurangan, salah satunya dengan menggunakan sistem enkripsi-dekripsi data dari pemilih ke sistem. Namun hal ini kurang efektif apabila kecurangan terjadi ketika data sudah dirubah sebelum masuk ke sistem. Dengan menerapkan mekanisme rantai kepercayaan (chain of trust) untuk mendeteksi adanya perubahan surat suara serta sistem autentikasi digital, mekanisme keamanan bagi peserta pemungutan suara bisa diwujudkan. Proses autentikasi digital menggunakan ponsel pintar dengan teknologi NFC dipadukan dengan sistem enkripsi asimetris dan digital signature . Pemilih bisa mendeteksi adanya perubahan surat suara melalui digital signature yang ada dan sistem E-Vote bisa mengenali peserta dari kunci publik yang ditawarkan oleh autentikator. Kemudian sistem E-Vote bisa memverifikasi keaslian kunci publik peserta melalui autentikasi berbasis zero-knowledge proof challenge . Hasil pilihan peserta kemudian dikirimkan ke autentikator untuk ditandatangani dan tandatangan tersebut digunakan sebagai bukti peserta telah melakukan pemilihan. Dari hasil uji coba yang dilakukan, terbukti bahwa autentikator bisa mendeteksi ketidaksamaan antara data dengan signature, dan autentikator bisa melakukan autentikasi dengan sistem E-Vote dengan tepat. Data hasil pilihan peserta bisa diverifikasi dengan signature yang ada untuk memeriksa integritas data.
