Spectrum Management in 6G HetNet Based on Smart Contracts and Harmonized Software-Defined Networking-Enabled Approach

S. Markkandan, Prem Kumar, R Prathipa, K. Vengatesan ยท 5 authors

6G networks are predicted to provide new prospects for Smart Cities and Internet of Things (IoT) applications because of their global seamless coverage. Therefore, to fulfil the growing need for huge data rates for 6G and greater applications, network capacity must be enhanced. As a result, there is an increase in spectrum demand.Only by successfully sharing existing spectrum and avoiding spectrum underutilization will the increased demand for cellular services be addressed. As a result, for 6G to achieve considerably enhanced network capacity, efficient spectrum management systems must be developed. As a result, maintaining 6G's predicted huge network capacity in such as heterogeneous environment necessitates the shared exploitation of available spectrum resources through dynamic coordination across device and network, which can be accomplished by incorporating SDN into 6G networks.Due to the increased speeds and reliability of 6G networks, users may have to pay more for energy, to overcome these issues, In this paper, a novel proposed a 6G HetNet spectrum management system based on HSA and Smart Contracts.HSA harmonizes network operation by spreading local decision-making and network-wide policy-making processes between BS and the SDN controller, correspondingly, to relieve any possible controller scalability and latency difficulties. And, to tackle the intricacies of service-level agreements, leverage blockchain's smart contract technology, which allows for automation and trustworthy, transparent radio spectrum negotiation among several parties. This proposed solution is dependable, scalable, and implementable, as seen by the results.

In the era of smart cities, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) are necessary towards the success of smart cars in the modern societies. ITS rely on Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs), which enable communication between cars to relay safety messages exchange. However, VANETs can be exposed to the issue of decentralization and high mobility of cars. Therefore, VANETs are vulnerable to a variety of attacks such as black-hole and grey-hole attacks. These attacks have a significantly dangerous influence on the availability of ITS, causing traffic disruption. In this paper, a blockchain-based model is proposed to provide a convenient and secure solution for ITS. Furthermore, it enables decentralized cooperation between cars and mutual trust is created using smart contracts. The experimental evaluation shows that the PDR rates of the proposed protocols achieve good results compared to previous routing protocols. However, the VCBC method gives a high rate of PDR than SCBC reaching 70% because of the high awareness of the sender car.

Higher Educational Information Resource Sharing Model Based on Blockchain

Bing Dai, Xiaoguang An

Through the sharing of high-quality educational resources in colleges and universities, various colleges and universities have carried out active and effective exchanges in teaching resources, avoiding the duplication of larger educational resources, and improving the academic and career development of teachers and students. The construction of a blockchain-based regional higher education information resource sharing model can solve the problems of scattered teaching resources and duplicate construction of teaching resources, difficulties to ensure the security of digital education resources, high operating costs of platforms, and urgent protection of intellectual property rights of resources. Most of the existing solutions rely on third-party certificate issuing centers or use a single key to encrypt the data flow of education information resources, which has hidden dangers of leakage of privacy information such as intellectual property rights, copyrights, confidential information of resources, other key information, and operation records. Therefore, this paper studies the regional higher education information resource sharing model based on blockchain and designs the data protection protocol of higher education information resources and its resource transaction relationship protection scheme. It introduces the blockchain-based regional higher education information resource sharing model mainly from three aspects: blinding the identity of authorized resource recipients, resource initiators publishing resource transactions, and authorized resource recipients publishing resource transactions. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed model.

The rapidly growing e-commerce sector has created new opportunities and challenges to the logistics industry. Nonetheless, the majority of Hong Kong logistics industry, especially small-and-medium (SMEs) firms, lack operational decision support to adequately handle the seasonal, fragmented, and fluctuating e-commerce orders. To grasp the opportunities of the e-commerce logistics business, logistics service providers (LSPs) should enhance their capability in information exchange and operational planning. With these improvements, the logistics industry would be better able to sustain and expand their e-commerce logistics business. In this paper, a Blockchain-based E-Commerce Analytics Model is developed to enhance digital supply chain integration. Firstly, timely operational decision support would be achieved as blockchain technology, after that, the ML algorithm would enable the logistics industry to manage data efficiently and to forecast dynamic e-commerce order demand. Subsequently, the proposed model allows LSPs to flexibly re-allocate the right number of resources in real time to deal with the hour-to-hour fluctuating arrival of orders in distribution centers. Additionally, the proposed model enables logistics practitioners to predict the sales performance related to e-commerce.

Potential use of RFID and QR code in the supply chain based on Blockchain and Smart contract

Mikulรกลก ฤŒernรฝ, Mariรกn Gogola

Nowadays, the discovery of new technologies is more intense than ever before. Terms such as Blockchain technology or Smart Contracts are becoming more and more familiar. Thanks to the decentralized system and the distribution of immutable records of transactions among all network participants, Blockchain finds application in almost any field, whether industry or society. Supply chain is one such area. In this paper, a theoretical model of supply chain based on Blockchain is presented. The participants of the presented model are the manufacturer with suppliers, the carrier, the retailer, and the final consumer. The model describes the process from the production of components to the sale of the final product to the final consumer. By implementing RFID and IoT, the participants can track the goods in real time. The end consumer enters the chain by scanning the QR code of the product. Contractual relationships are stored in the Blockchain in the form of Smart Contracts, which automatically execute the action based on the agreed terms. In addition, the paper describes selected Blockchain platforms that are used in the real world. Finally, we also present tools for simulating and testing Blockchain in a local network.

Global Interoperability Model for Distributed Ledger-Based Cross-Border Payment Systems

Michael Olumuyiwa Adesuyi, Olawole Akomolafe, Babajide Oluwaseun Olaogun, Victor Ukara Ndukwe ยท 5 authors

The globalization of commerce has highlighted the critical need for efficient, secure, and interoperable cross-border payment systems. Distributed ledger technology (DLT) offers transformative potential for international transactions by providing transparency, immutability, and real-time settlement capabilities. However, the proliferation of heterogeneous blockchain networks and disparate protocols has created fragmentation, limiting seamless interoperability and hindering financial inclusion, particularly for SMEs and emerging market participants. This study proposes a Global Interoperability Model for Distributed Ledger-Based Cross-Border Payment Systems to address these challenges by integrating multi-chain communication protocols, standardized application programming interfaces (APIs), and shared liquidity mechanisms to enable cohesive cross-border financial operations. The model emphasizes a modular architecture that incorporates public, private, and consortium blockchains, allowing for flexible integration with existing banking and fintech infrastructures. Core components include automated transaction workflows, smart contract-driven settlement processes, and real-time reconciliation mechanisms that accommodate multi-currency conversions and dynamic fee adjustments. Security and compliance considerations, including AML/KYC enforcement, sanctions screening, and multi-factor authentication, are embedded to maintain regulatory alignment and mitigate operational and financial risks. Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, such as redundant infrastructure, liquidity buffers, and predictive analytics, are integrated to address FX volatility, network congestion, and protocol-specific vulnerabilities. Performance evaluation through transaction cost efficiency, latency, throughput, and user satisfaction metrics, combined with stress testing and sensitivity analysis, demonstrates the modelโ€™s ability to maintain operational resilience under high-volume and volatile market conditions. The model provides actionable insights for financial institutions, fintech operators, SMEs, and regulators, supporting strategic decision-making, cost optimization, and transparent, secure access to global markets. By facilitating interoperability across diverse DLT networks, the framework contributes to enhanced efficiency, reduced transaction costs, and broader financial inclusion, offering a scalable blueprint for next-generation cross-border payment systems.
