INNOVATION AND CHALLENGES OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY IN THE DIGITAL ERA : AN ANALYSIS OF ITS EFFECTIVENESS IN SHARIAH FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

The development of blockchain technology has brought significant innovation to the financial sector, including the management of Shariah-compliant finance, by enhancing transparency, security, and efficiency of financial transactions in accordance with Shariah principles. This technology utilizes distributed ledger technology (DLT) and smart contracts to ensure authenticity and fairness in transactions, thereby strengthening trust and accountability within the Shariah financial system. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of blockchain implementation in Shariah finance and identify various challenges faced in the digital era, such as immature regulations, limited digital infrastructure, and low levels of technological literacy among industry players. The research method includes a literature review of relevant journals and reports, as well as case studies of blockchain implementation in Shariah financial institutions. The findings indicate that blockchain plays a crucial role in increasing trust and transparency, but its success heavily depends on the synergy among regulators, Shariah financial institutions, and other stakeholders to overcome these obstacles. These results emphasize the importance of collaborative and innovative strategies to support the sustainable growth of the Shariah financial system in the digital age.

Abstract In recent years, the protection and management of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) have become challenging due to the rapid growth of digital content, ownership disputes, and lack of transparency in traditional systems. Most existing IPR management frameworks rely on centralized authorities and manual verification processes, which are inefficient, time-consuming, and vulnerable to tampering. This paper introduces IPR Management Using Blockchain, a decentralized system designed to securely register and manage intellectual property assets. The system uses blockchain technology to ensure immutability, transparency, and tamper-proof ownership records. Smart contracts are employed to automate IP registration, ownership verification, licensing, and royalty distribution without third-party involvement. The proposed system enables creators to securely register digital assets and provides verifiable proof of ownership through cryptographic hashing and distributed ledgers. Experimental evaluation shows improved security, transparency, and efficiency compared to traditional IPR management approaches. The blockchain-based IPR system offers a scalable and reliable solution for modern digital rights protection. Kajian Konseptual AI Agent On-Chain Berbasis LLM untuk Manajemen Aset DeFi

Pada periode 2024-2025, pertemuan antara Large Language Model dan teknologi blockchain melahirkan kelas perangkat lunak baru yang disebut AI Agent on-chain, perangkat lunak otonom yang menerjemahkan tujuan pengguna menjadi rangkaian transaksi Decentralized Finance dan menandatanganinya tanpa intervensi manusia. Adopsi yang berlangsung cepat memperlihatkan tiga celah konseptual yang belum terjawab: kompleksitas alur eksekusi multi-langkah pada DeFi, lansekap kerentanan yang khas LLM seperti indirect prompt injection dan jailbreak yang berimplikasi langsung pada aset finansial, dan ketiadaan kerangka tata kelola yang akuntabel pada ekosistem yang terdesentralisasi. Kajian ini menyintesis 34 publikasi terverifikasi dari basis data Zotero ke dalam empat tema yang saling terkait: arsitektur agen dan kolaborasi multi-agen, manajemen kunci pada agentic wallet, lansekap ancaman keamanan, serta peran blockchain sebagai trust layer. Temuan kunci yang muncul adalah bahwa pertahanan yang hanya bertumpu pada lapisan bahasa terbukti tidak memadai; kontrol pada lapisan tindakan, melalui kebijakan yang dinamis, isolasi enclave, atau secret sharing multi-pihak, menjadi prasyarat ketika konsekuensi finansial bersifat permanen. Kontribusi yang diajukan mencakup taksonomi vektor ancaman per lapis arsitektur, kerangka pertahanan tiga-lapis hibrid, serta agenda riset masa depan dengan lima arah konkret.

BITCOIN PRICE PREDICTION WITH ARIMAX AND DEEP LEARNING MODELS

Deep learning has emerged as a widely applied approach across various fields, with finance and forecasting being among its most prominent areas of use. Within this domain, different deep learning architectures have been developed to address specific prediction problems. This study compares the performance of ARIMAX and several deep learning models—including LSTM, BILSTM, CNN-LSTM, GRU, and TFT—in forecasting Bitcoin prices. The dataset consists of daily values from January 2014 to January 2025. The dependent variable is the daily Bitcoin closing price ($), while the independent variables include oil price (USD/barrel), gold price (USD/ounce), platinum price ($/XPT), and the USD/TRY exchange rate. All analyses were conducted in Python using Google Colab, with the Keras library employed for model implementation. Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) was selected as the evaluation metric for predictive accuracy. The results indicate that the TFT model achieved the highest predictive performance, followed closely by the GRU model. LSTM, BILSTM, and ARIMAX models showed similar yet weaker performance, while the CNN-LSTM model produced the least accurate forecasts, with significantly higher RMSE values compared to the other models.

Government regulation of cryptocurrency transactions

Subject. This article analyzes the use of cryptocurrencies in international and domestic settlements. Objectives. The article aims to analyze current approaches to government regulation of cryptocurrencies in various countries, and identify successful practices and risks associated with the lack of regulation. Methods. For the study, I used a comparative analysis, as well as SWOT and PEST analyses. Results. The article reveals the diversity of approaches to cryptocurrency regulation in various countries and identifies the specific features of legal regulation in the Russian Federation, including an analysis of the federal laws adopted in 2024 that legalize mining and permit the use of cryptocurrencies in international settlements within the framework of experimental legal regimes. It systematizes the international experience in cryptocurrency regulation, assesses the current regulatory framework of the Russian Federation, and indicate possible areas for its improvement, taking into account modern economic realities and technological trends. Conclusions. There is the need for a balanced approach to regulating cryptocurrencies that would take into account risks to financial stability and economic development, as well as promote international cooperation and the development of the crypto economy.

Modern Challenges and Strategic Opportunities Shaping AML/CFT Risk Landscapes in Banking

The banking system today faces an unprecedented level of uncertainty in the field of anti-money laundering and counter-terrorist financing (AML/CFT). Rapid digitalization, the emergence of anonymous payment methods, the intensification of cross-border transactions, and the widespread use of cryptocurrencies are fundamentally transforming the nature of financial flows while simultaneously creating a fertile ground for complex financial abuse schemes. This problem is further exacerbated by growing geopolitical tensions and sanctions pressure, which destabilize traditional mechanisms of international oversight and deterrence. This article offers a comprehensive analysis of the emerging challenges shaping the risk landscape in AML/CFT for the banking sector. It examines key directions in the evolution of threats — from the use of decentralized finance and smart contracts to the increasing role of informal payment channels. Alongside this, the article explores the prospects for a technological response from financial institutions, particularly the adoption of artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain solutions, and RegTech tools. It is emphasized that the effectiveness of these approaches depends not only on banks’ capacity to invest in technology but also on their ability to adapt organizational culture and regulatory engagement. Special attention is given to the Russian context, including the specific features of the legal framework, the level of digital maturity among banks, and participation in international initiatives. At the heart of the discussion lies the question: to what extent is the domestic system prepared to manage next-generation risks amid the transformation of global financial oversight? AML/CFT in the banking sector can no longer be regarded merely as a procedural function limited to formal compliance. It is becoming a strategically important domain at the intersection of financial stability, technological modernization, and national security. The resilience of the financial system in the coming years will depend on the ability of banks to adapt to this new risk profile, staying ahead not only of criminal schemes but also of the inertia of regulatory models.

Private Property without Privacy: Private Information and the Silent Transformation of Ownership in the Information Age

Classical political economy treats private property as foundational to economic coordination and individual autonomy. This paper argues that while private property remains formally intact, it has been substantively hollowed out by the erosion of privacy in the information age. The central claim is that private information—defined as the owner's privileged epistemic access to knowledge relevant to her assets—is a necessary condition for meaningful private property. When such information is no longer privately controlled, ownership persists only as legal fiction rather than effective sovereignty. Through analysis of software licensing, smart property, and decentralized finance, the paper shows how contemporary property increasingly functions as conditional, reversible, access-based arrangements dependent on informational infrastructures governed by others. Revisiting Hayek's epistemological defense of property, the analysis demonstrates that the loss of informational privacy undermines the assumptions that allowed private property to sustain an extended order. The paper engages with objections from information economics and cryptographic privacy, examines systemic risks to economic stability, innovation, and political order, and concludes that the defining challenge of our time is not the abolition of private property, but the disappearance of the private itself.

Evolution of scientific concepts of financial intermediation

Subject. The article examines the evolution of scientific concepts of financial intermediation as a key institution of the modern economy. The study focuses on theoretical approaches to explaining the nature, functions, and role of financial intermediaries in resource allocation, risk reduction, and maintaining financial system stability. Objectives. The aim is to systematize and analyze the evolution of financial intermediation theory—from classical models to modern concepts—considering their continuity and the influence of external economic and technological factor. Methods. The methodological basis includes comparative analysis, institutional and functional approaches, and elements of empirical generalization. Results. We identified and compared key criteria for evaluating theories of financial intermediation, established the continuity between major theoretical approaches, enabling to trace changes in views on the nature and functions of intermediaries. Furthermore, we described mechanisms of asset and risk transformation. The study also addresses whether decentralized finance constitutes an independent theoretical paradigm or continues existing approaches. The results are applicable for improving research in finance and formulating strategies for regulation and sector development. Conclusions. The functional content of financial intermediation has expanded considerably and is integrated into modern economic models. Modern theories view intermediaries as system-forming elements that ensure the stability and development of the financial system.

Integrating Blockchain and File System for Data Privacy

This article examines the integration of blockchain, distributed file system, and virtualization technologies (including Virtual SAN, VSAN) to improve data storage privacy and efficiency. The limitations of traditional centralized storage models are presented, such as vulnerability to tampering, limited flexibility in access control, difficulty in auditing, and low resource efficiency. A concept for an integrated data storage system based on blockchain smart contracts is proposed. This system incorporates data encryption, implementation of an access control strategy based on blockchain attributes, the use of virtualization optimized through VSAN, distributed key management, and privacy-enhancing technologies (zero-knowledge proof, trusted computing environment). The proposed architecture provides flexible access control, efficient data processing, and a high level of security in a public or private blockchain environment.

Islamic Sale & Purchase Principles in Decentralized Exchanges: An Evaluation of Sharia Compliance

Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) powered by immutable and automated smart contracts have revolutionized cryptocurrency trading by eliminating intermediaries. However, the alignment of their mechanisms with Islamic principles of sale and purchase remains unclear. This study conducted a qualitative analysis to assess the sharia compliance of DEXs. This research examines the conformity of DEX trading mechanisms with sharia principles by utilizing content and normative analysis of classical and contemporary Islamic finance literature alongside DEX-related articles, white papers, and industry reports. The findings reveal critical areas of non-compliance, particularly concerning contracting parties ('aqīd) and subject matter (mabī'). DEXs lack mechanisms to verify the legal capacity of transacting parties, potentially enabling involvement from individuals deemed incompetent under sharia. Cryptocurrencies as a medium of exchange also raise concerns because of their ambiguous nature as commodities or currencies, potentially leading to gharar (uncertainty) and ḍarar (harm). While certain aspects, such as the clarity of offer and acceptance (ijāb wa qabūl) through smart contracts and specific traded assets, such as certain tokens and NFTs, might align with sharia, the overall risks associated with speculation and inherent uncertainties necessitate caution. This study recommends that Muslims approach DEXs with caution until clear guidelines and sharia-compliant platforms are established. Furthermore, increased scrutiny from Islamic scholars and regulatory bodies is crucial for ensuring this rapidly evolving technology's ethical and compliant development. Abstrak Decentralized Exchanges (DEX) yang didukung oleh smart contracts telah mengubah perdagangan mata uang kripto dengan menghilangkan peran perantara. Namun, kesesuaian mekanisme DEX dengan prinsip jual beli dalam Islam masih menjadi perdebatan. Studi ini melakukan analisis kualitatif untuk menilai kepatuhan DEX terhadap syariah. Metode analisis konten dan normatif digunakan berdasarkan literatur keuangan Islam klasik dan kontemporer, serta artikel, white papers, dan laporan industri terkait DEX. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan beberapa aspek kritis yang tidak sesuai dengan syariah, terutama terkait pihak yang berkontrak ('aqīd) dan objek akad (mabī'). DEX tidak memiliki mekanisme untuk memverifikasi kapasitas hukum pihak yang bertransaksi, sehingga berpotensi melibatkan individu yang tidak kompeten menurut syariah. Selain itu, status mata uang kripto sebagai alat tukar menimbulkan ketidakpastian terkait posisinya sebagai komoditas atau mata uang, yang dapat mengakibatkan gharar (ketidakpastian) dan ḍarar (kerugian). Meski beberapa aspek seperti penawaran dan penerimaan (ijāb wa qabūl) melalui smart contracts sesuai syariah, risiko spekulasi tetap tinggi. Oleh karena itu, studi ini merekomendasikan kehati-hatian bagi umat Muslim dalam menggunakan DEX hingga panduan syariah yang lebih jelas tersedia, serta pengawasan ulama dan regulator yang lebih ketat diperlukan.

A ZK-based multi-blockchain transaction layer for minimal trust base

Abstract In the realm of blockchains, synchronization challenges are two-folded. First, smart contracts from different blockchains cannot communicate with each other, making it hard to establish a trustworthy communication channel to share and maintain a universal state between each other. Second, transactions on different blockchains can hardly be ordered. Hence interference is expected. We need a novel way to handle interference. Traditional solutions involving third parties have safety and liveness issues and thus compromise between safety, permissionless, and liveness. ZK Multi-Blockchain Aggregatoris a multi-blockchain execution layer that leverages the power of zero-knowledge proof to minimize the trust base of multi-blockchain communication, which does not compromise safety, liveness, permissionless, and atomicity. In contrast to traditional blockchain bridges performing transactions on different blockchains separately and using a relay system to enforce the order of transactions and prevent interference, our method uses an entirely new approach, such that for each multi-blockchain transaction, it simulates the multi-blockchain transaction in its aggregator chain. Our aggregator uses zero-knowledge proofs of the simulation to convince involved blockchains to update their local state accordingly. On top of this layer, rich applications over multi-blockchains can run safely and efficiently.

BLOCKCHAIN AND THE VISUAL ARTS ECOSYSTEM: DISRUPTIVE IMPACTS ON DIGITAL ART OWNERSHIP, NFTS, AND CREATIVE ECONOMIES

One of the ways in which blockchain technology is transforming the visual arts ecosystem is by providing decentralized, transparent, and verifiable systems of ownership, distribution, and value exchange of digital art. This paper analyzes how blockchain has been disruptive to visual arts in modern times, specifically in non-fungible tokens (NFTs), creative economies, and artist-collector relationships. Historically, the digital artworks were associated with the issues with provenance, copyright protection, scarcity, and justifiable monetization. Blockchain overcomes these weaknesses by providing immutable registries, smart contracts, and tokenization to allow artists to have verifiable ownership, determine authenticity, and earn automatic royalties on transactions in the secondary market. The study takes a conceptual and analytical structure by synthesising the extant literature, platform case studies and new blockchain-based art markets to assess the worth of NFTs in redefining artistic value, authorship and market forces. The results suggest that blockchain makes global art markets more democratic by decreasing the use of intermediaries including galleries and auction houses, which are central, and thus giving power to independent and new artists. Simultaneously, it cultivates new creative economies in which digital scramble, community contribution and speculative finance overlap. Nevertheless, the paper also singles out some fundamental challenges such as environmental sustainability issues, market unpredictability, regulatory ambiguity and the issues of artistic legitimacy and cultural value. The article presents the argument that although blockchain does not substitute the traditional art institutions, it supports them by providing hybrid ecosystems through integrations of physical and digital practices. All in all, the study suggests blockchain as a revolutionary infrastructure to the visual arts, reinventing ownership, trust, and economic frameworks and proposing a sustainable, ethical, and inclusive future to enable the long-term development of digital art ecosystems.

RUG PULLS : CLASSIFYING NFT SCAMS AND THE REGULATORY INSTRUMENTS NEEDED IN INDONESIA

The phenomenon of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) trading has grown rapidly and has emerged as a promising new digital economic instrument. However, this development is accompanied by an increasing prevalence of scams within the NFT ecosystem, such as rug pulls, phishing, replay attacks, and falsified copyright claims over digital works. Indonesia currently lacks a regulatory framework that specifically governs NFT transactions or provides legal protection for consumers participating in them. This study aims to classify the various forms of NFT scams based on their juridical and technological characteristics, and to assess the adequacy of existing legal instruments in Indonesia, including criminal fraud provisions, consumer protection laws, electronic transaction regulations, and intellectual property rights. The research employs normative legal methods, focusing on statutory and conceptual approaches, as well as an examination of global practices in digital asset regulation. The analysis reveals a regulatory gap, particularly concerning marketplace liability, smart contract due diligence mechanisms, and cross-jurisdictional law enforcement. Therefore, the establishment of a specific regulatory framework that is risk-based, technologically adaptive, and oriented toward digital consumer protection is necessary.

Decision-OS V5 Revised (SiriusA2): A Zero-Knowledge Confirmation Layer for Trajectory-Aware Human–AI Decision Safety

Decision-OS V5 Revised (SiriusA2) addresses a practical AI safety problem: how human oversight can prevent irreversible decisions from being executed under pressure, confusion, coercion, or panic. It is designed for safety-critical, non-medical decision support settings where a user may be authenticated, yet the execution path may still be unsafe. The framework proposes a human-in-the-loop confirmation layer for irreversible risk. Instead of allowing a valid user action to move directly into execution, SiriusA2 routes protected actions through auditable confirmation states such as Request, Observe, Hold, Approve, Reject, Stop Candidate, Execute, and Revoke. The core mechanism is a trajectory-aware duress_score. This score is not an intent classifier, diagnosis, truthfulness score, or autonomous veto. It is an operational control-routing signal used to detect when a valid execution path deviates from an ordinary decision trajectory and approaches irreversible harm. SiriusA2 preserves human final consent through two-step confirmation, an explicit revoke path, optional family multisig, and a Zero-Knowledge approval layer (310/320) that verifies authorization without exposing personally identifiable information. The duress_score does not replace ZK approval or multisig; it routes actions into the confirmation path, while ZK qualification and multisig provide independent authorization conditions before irreversible execution. The revised manuscript integrates the SiriusA Adoption Gate into the main paper. The gate provides a Hold-first confirmation path for irreversible, externally pressured, unusually urgent, or high-stake actions: Request → Observe/Hold → Approve/Reject → Execute/Revoke. A score-based Stop Candidate does not automatically become Stop or Freeze. Stop or Freeze requires an independent non-score condition, such as verified revoke input, ZK-qualified m-of-k approval, policy-defined guardian confirmation, or an emergency protocol condition. Safety is operationalized through auditable state transitions, non-PII KPIs, five-line gate outputs, evidence packaging (ZIP + SHA256), and explicit prohibitions on automatic transmission, payment, or reporting. Economic analysis of embedded oversight in decentralized finance

Subject. This article discusses the issues related to the oversight of decentralized finance. Objectives. The article aims to search for the optimal conditions for the effective implementation of the embedded supervision of decentralized finance. Methods. For the study, I used retrospective, systems, and functional and structural analyses, classification, comparison, and generalization. Results. The article describes the main problems and ways to solve them in terms of economic analysis of the embedded supervision over decentralized finance. It defines the built-in analysis and optimal conditions for its implementation. The article proposes mathematically determined parameters and recommendations for implementing embedded supervision related to the behavior of nodes and consumption of their register for confirming operations with digital property. Conclusions. The proposed economic and mathematical approaches help formalize the task of embedded supervision in the DeFi environment, and find solutions that take into account the interests of all market participants, as well. The optimization models discussed demonstrate the possibility of balancing the need for transparency and the need to preserve the main benefits of decentralization.

COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF INTERNATIONAL PRACTICES OF WEB3 IMPLEMENTATION IN PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION: CASE STUDIES OF ESTONIA, SOUTH KOREA, AND THE USA

This article explores the process of building a digital state and the role of public administration digitalization in that context. The relevance of the study lies in the need to enhance governance efficiency through the integration of information technologies. The research aims to provide a comparative analysis of the theoretical foundations of digital governance, international best practices, and their practical applicability. The methodology combines systems analysis with comparative research tools. Findings reveal that digital instruments significantly improve transparency, operational efficiency, and citizen engagement. The scientific novelty of the study is the proposed structural model of interaction between digital governance mechanisms and public institutions. The article also offers practical recommendations for designing and implementing digital strategies in Armenia’s public administration system. The results are applicable to state policy formulation, strategic IT planning, and higher education curricula in the field of public governance and digital transformation.

Decentralized finance: A payment system based on the digital ruble

Subject. This article discusses the payment system based on the digital ruble in the concept of decentralized finance within the legislative framework of the Russian Federation. Objectives. The article aims to identify the optimal way to implement the payment system based on the digital ruble, and on this basis, present an optimal model of integration of the digital ruble into the blockchain network. Methods. For the study, we used logic, analysis and synthesis, induction and deduction, an object-oriented approach, and modeling. Results. Based on the analysis of consensus mechanisms and methods for integrating the digital ruble into the blockchain network and the legislative framework of the Russian Federation, the article forms and substantiates a scheme for integrating the digital ruble into the blockchain network. Within the framework of the proposed scheme, efficiency is achieved through the use of innovative information technologies in the field of finance based on the concept of decentralized finance. Conclusions and Relevance. The presented concept of integrating the mechanism of the digital ruble module into the Ethereum-based blockchain network is relevant, its implementation has maximum reliability, security and optimal transaction cost. This mechanism makes economic exchange and financial transactions a safe, efficient and prompt payment link in the DeFi ecosystem. The results of the study are intended for the Bank of Russia's projects implementation to introducte the digital ruble and develop decentralized applications.

A Blockchain-Monitored Agentic AI Architecture for Trusted Perception-Reasoning-Action Pipelines

The application of agentic AI systems in autonomous decision-making is growing in the areas of healthcare, smart cities, digital forensics, and supply chain management. Even though these systems are flexible and offer real-time reasoning, they also raise concerns of trust and oversight, and integrity of the information and activities upon which they are founded. The paper suggests a single architecture model comprising of LangChain-based multi-agent system with a permissioned blockchain to guarantee constant monitoring, policy enforcement, and immutable auditability of agentic action. The framework relates the perception conceptualization-action cycle to a blockchain layer of governance that verifies the inputs, evaluates recommended actions, and documents the outcomes of the execution. A Hyperledger Fabric-based system, action executors MCP-integrated, and LangChain agent are introduced and experiments of smart inventory management, traffic-signal control, and healthcare monitoring are done. The results suggest that blockchain-security verification is efficient in preventing unauthorized practices, offers traceability throughout the whole decision-making process, and maintains operational latency within reasonable ranges. The suggested framework provides a universal system of implementing high-impact agentic AI applications that are autonomous yet responsible.

(Im)possibility of Incentive Design for Challenge-based Blockchain Protocols

Blockchains offer a decentralized and secure execution environment strong enough to host cryptocurrencies, but the state-replication model makes on-chain computation expensive. To avoid heavy on-chain workloads, systems like Truebit and optimistic rollups use challenge-based protocols, performing computations off-chain and invoking the chain only when challenged. This keeps normal-case costs low and, if at least one honest challenger exists, can catch fraud. What has been less clear is whether honest challengers are actually incentivized and a dishonest proposer is properly damaged under the worst case environment. We build a model with a colluding minority, heterogeneous costs, and three ordering modes. We then ask whether two goals can be met together: honest non-loss and fraud deterrence. Our results are clear: in single-winner designs, the incentive design is impossible or limited in scale. By contrast, in multi-winner designs, we obtain simple, explicit conditions under which both goals hold.

Virtual currency has become one of the most sought-after alternative assets in the past decade with bitcoin being a leading example. value leapt from its starting price of $0.0025 to increase by more than 40 million times that amount, creating one of the greatest rises in value in the entire history of finance. In the past few years, many academic studies show that even though Bitcoin runs independently from traditional finance, but still there is a high correlation between Bitcoin and stock market. In particular, following the introduction of Bitcoin options back in 2017, Bitcoin now appears more predictive of stock return movements than before. Research by Afees A. Salisu and his coworkers display that a solitary Bitcoin price prediction model using an optimized predictive regression framework notably surpasses older ones. but don’t say how long this goes on Therefore this research will go to try and determine the time frame when Bitcoin is better at predicting the future of the stock market as opposed to stock options. Also, we’ll use machine learning techniques to train machine learning models to predict the movements of the stock market and see if they work.

Information Management Enhancement in Cloud-Based Systems Through Blockchain-Enabled Secure Access Control

Cloud technologies have dramatically altered the data storage, access, and scalability landscape, but the resultant dependence on centralized systems creates immense challenges for security, privacy, and unauthorized access. This paper introduces a new framework for enabling information management in cloud environments using blockchain-enabled secure access control. By integrating distributed ledger technology and highly cryptographic access control methods, this framework will facilitate immutable record-keeping, real-time verification of access rights, and the ability to audit user activity. This framework will substantially reduce the risk of data breaches, insider threats, and unauthorized access through its transparency and overall operational reliance. The empirical evaluations confirm that blockchain-enabled access control provides an impressive level of security, while smoothing information management processes and establishing trust and resilience in cloud environments. The results will demonstrate that blockchain can disrupt cloud information management and provide a scalable, privacy-preserving solution for any enterprise or multi-tenant cloud application.

Protokoły pożyczkowe, będące kluczowym komponentem zdecentralizowanych finansów (DeFi), oferują bardziej elastyczne narzędzia alokacji kapitału niż tradycyjne struktury finansowe. Protokoły DeFi, takie jak Compound, Maker i Aave, odpowiadają na wyzwania napotykane przez klasyczne rynki pożyczkowe, w szczególności banki i scentralizowane platformy pożyczkowe. Przedstawimy także szczegółowy opis mechanizmów działania tych protokołów, z uwzględnieniem ich innowacyjnych podejść do zarządzania ryzykiem oraz zabezpieczeniami. Pomimo swojej innowacyjności protokoły DeFi wciąż wykazują zależność od tradycyjnych systemów finansowych, co wskazuje na złożone relacje między tymi dwoma sektorami. Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), which forms the foundation of the Internet of Value (IoV), is transforming modern lending markets. Lending protocols, a key component of decentralized finance (DeFi), offer more flexible capital allocation tools compared to traditional financial structures. DeFi protocols, such as Compound, Maker, and Aave, address challenges faced by conventional lending markets, particularly banks and centralized lending platforms. This paper also provides a detailed description of how these protocols operate, highlighting their innovative approaches to risk management and collateralization. Despite their innovation, DeFi protocols still exhibit dependence on traditional financial systems, illustrating the complex relationships between these two sectors.

Integrating Blockchain Smart Contracts and Ontology to Ensure Transparency and Integrity in Administration

This paper presents an ontology-driven administrative monitoring system that integrates blockchain smart contracts to ensure transparency, accountability, and integrity in organizational processes.This tracks resources and manages administrative workflows in an open and decentralised manner, addressing long-standing governance challenges such as opacity and unaccountability.Many important administrative processes involve the movement of resources from one point to another; these resources and processes can be modelled similarly to the movement of goods in a supply chain.Motivated by the need to improve institutional governance, particularly in contexts where individual actions often undermine fairness, this study combines ontology and blockchain to formalize administrative processes and enhance traceability.A pre-created ontology from the author's previous work, developed for postgraduate administration at the University of Ibadan, was adopted.The ontology defines classes and activities which were translated into blockchain entities and smart contracts, implemented in Solidity, and deployed on the Ethereum test network.Test cases derived from ontology competency questions validate the functional correctness of the smart contracts.The results confirm that administrative activities can be monitored transparently and immutably, providing a foundation for broader applications in public administration, education, and corporate governance.
