Prediksi Harga Dan Kinerja Aset Bitcoin Menggunakan Algoritma Long Short-Term Memory

FACHRI ALHADI RAMADHAN ALDI, Novi Dian Nathasia

Fundamental Analysis in Choosing Altcoins in Cryptocurrency With Preference Selection Index Method

Huan Margana Ritonga, Zara Yunizar, Hafizh Al Kautsar Aidilof

Cryptocurrency has become one of the most intriguing topics in finance and technology in recent years. With the growing prominence of Bitcoin, the rise of altcoins (alternative cryptocurrencies) also demonstrates significant potential within the cryptocurrency market. Altcoins, which include all cryptocurrencies other than Bitcoin, offer diverse functionalities and use cases, ranging from smart contracts to decentralized finance (DeFi) applications. This thesis identifies the altcoin options with the best investment opportunities and the highest growth potential. The study employs the Preference Selection Index (PSI) method, a multi-criteria decision-making approach that evaluates alternatives based on specific preferences and criteria. This method is particularly suitable for assessing complex investment decisions involving multiple variables, such as market capitalization, technological innovation, and utility. By applying PSI, investors can decide which altcoins will likely yield substantial returns. A web-based platform has been developed as part of this research to simplify selecting promising altcoins. This platform enables users to evaluate options based on predefined criteria, such as market trends, project objectives, and development team credibility. The accessibility of this tool empowers users—whether novice or experienced investors—to navigate the dynamic cryptocurrency market more effectively. Altcoins provide a unique opportunity for diversification in investment portfolios. Unlike Bitcoin, which is often viewed as a store of value, many altcoins are designed with specific purposes and innovative features. For instance, Ethereum introduced smart contracts that revolutionized decentralized applications, while other altcoins focus on scalability or niche markets like the Internet of Things (IoT). However, investing in altcoins also comes with challenges like high market volatility, security risks, and regulatory uncertainties. Therefore, thorough research and strategic planning are essential for minimizing risks while maximizing returns in this rapidly evolving sector.

Exploring Governance for accreditation in the education sector using blockchain technology: a systematic literature review

ACD De Alwis, Anup Shrestha, Tapan Sarker

The current education accreditation process poses a significant risk globally to the quality of education due to the increased falsification of academic certificates. Although previous studies have highlighted the potential benefits of blockchain technology in this context, there remains an opportunity towards a thorough investigation into the governance factors that influence the implementation of blockchain technology within the education sector. The accreditation system becomes increasingly important as a result of the emergence of a new learning ecosystem that enables the propagation of academic credits. It fosters an integrative learning approach by facilitating the accumulation of academic credits from a variety of higher education institutions, thereby promoting a learning ecosystem. The fundamental concept is to recognize the existence of a variety of learning pathways and to democratize educationTo this end, we conducted a comprehensive review of existing studies on the governance mechanisms for accreditation in the education sector using Blockchain technology. We identified 63 journal articles using four academic databases (EBScohost, Emerald, insight, Sage Journals, Scopus, Science direct) from 2018 to 2023. The literature appears devoid of proposals for a governance framework even though in the conventional paradigm such a framework is crucial in ensuring authenticity of credentials.

Enhancing Blended Learning Evaluation Through a Blockchain and Searchable Encryption Approach

Fei Ren, Bo Zhao, Jun Wang, Juxiang Zhou · 5 authors

With the rapid development of information technology, blended learning has become a crucial aspect of modern education. However, the fragmented use of various teaching platforms, such as Xuexitong and Rain Classroom, has led to the dispersion of teaching data. This not only increases the cognitive load on teachers and students but also hinders the systematic recording of teaching activities and learning outcomes. Moreover, existing blended learning evaluation systems exhibit significant shortcomings in large-scale data storage and secure sharing. To address these issues, this study designs a blended teaching evaluation management system based on blockchain and searchable encryption. First, an on-chain and off-chain collaborative storage model is established using the Ethereum blockchain and the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) to ensure secure and large-scale storage of student work data. Next, a role-based access control scheme utilizing smart contracts is proposed to effectively prevent unauthorized access. Simultaneously, a searchable encryption scheme is designed using AES-CBC-256 and SHA-256 algorithms, enabling data sharing while safeguarding data privacy. Additionally, the smart contract comprehensively records students’ grade information, including weekly regular scores, midterm scores, final scores, overall scores, and their rankings, ensuring transparency in the evaluation process. Based on these technical solutions, a general-purpose teaching evaluation management system (B-Education) is developed. The experimental results demonstrate that the system accurately records teaching activities and learning outcomes, improving the transparency of teaching evaluations while ensuring data security and privacy. The system’s gas consumption remains within a reasonable range, demonstrating good flexibility and usability. Educational institutions can flexibly configure course evaluation criteria and adjust the weighting of various grades based on their specific needs. This study provides an innovative solution for blended teaching evaluation, offering significant theoretical value and practical implications.

Blockchain in Education Technology “ A Tool for Challenges in Education Technology” A Review Paper

Thilina Halloluwa, Chameera De Silva

Blockchain is a decentralized, distributed, immutable ledger technology introduced in the late 1900s and got attention as the enabling mechanism for operating cryptocurrency transactions. Being a strong network, decentralized, immutable and almost impossible to be hacked, blockchain is the desired solution for transparency and digital security. Having multiple use cases across multiple domains, blockchain is the technology which has the potential to change the way we think of security and trust. In the last decade, the world also experienced a massive growth in the education sector with the introduction of education technology. The covid-19 pandemic forced lockdown influenced the growth of education technology. Businesses and governments experienced massive growth in the education sector globally. Incorporation of technology into education started from teaching and learning on videos calls and is now grown enough to involve artificial intelligence and machine learning. This advancement in the education industry enabled the facilities and growth but at the same time introduced new challenges and threats. The incorporation of technology also brings the threat of security, both cyber and ethical. Students and their details are exposed online, and this makes them sensitive towards cyber threats. Not only students but all the stakeholders exposed online are also sensitive towards cyber-attacks. These challenges in the education sector need to be addressed and solved. Researchers and scientists have found blockchain to be a potential solution to the challenges present in the education sector today. This paper presents a systematic review on the education technology and the potential of blockchain technology in solving the current issues in the education sector introduced through the incorporation of education technology in the last 5 years. Along with presenting the review, this paper also proposes a novel architecture of a learning management system based on blockchain and knowledge graph. The data sources explored to collect the studies for this systematic review are Complementary Index, Business Source Ultimate, eBook Index, Springer, IEEE Xplore and more. A sum of 15,855 studies were explored and screened to find a total of around 60 studies and reports to be included in this review paper. The complete process of identification, screening and selecting was a 5-step process and was done according to the PRISMA layout. The complete study is presented according to the PRISMA checklist and aims to present a clear and concise view of the current state-of-art of blockchain in education.

IMPLEMENTASI SMART CONTRACT PADA E-VOTING DENGAN METODE PEER-TO-PEER BLOCKCHAIN ETHEREUM

Gery Pratama Putra

Risa Kartika Sari, Rismaria Purba

Gamification on Cryptocurrencies to Increase Public Investment Interest

Moeng Sakmar, Rizky Andhika Surya, Siti Hartinah

The development of cryptocurrencies continues to experience a very rapid in-crease with the prediction of average growth of more than 1 million investors every month around the world. However, it is different in Indonesia, people do not know widely what cryptocurrency is and how to invest in cryptocurrency. The Indonesian Ministry of Trade noted that in the second quarter (Q2) of 2020, cryptocurrency investors experienced an increase of up to 6.4 million investors, but when compared to the total population of Indonesia, this figure is still very far below 1%, plus economic conditions after the Coronavirus pandemic are getting worse. discourage people from investing. When viewed from the fundamental side, cryptocurrency assets can be said to be quite strong against the pandemic, compared to the stock market and mutual funds listed on the Indonesian stock exchange (IDX) which have decreased due to the coronavirus pandemic. In this study, we propose a gamification method by focusing on the introduction of cryptocurrency investments with the aim that people in Indonesia can be more familiar with and invest in cryptocurrency, the methods, and systems that we propose will at the same time reward users in the form of crypto assets to attract people to better understand the opportunities. investing in cryptocurrency.
