Attendance for staff is one of data collection in the institution as a part of reporting and recording activity. Blockchain technology or distributed ledger has become registration system used in the network. Blockchain technology is one of the technologies that has robust security system and minimizing the lost of data because each node has the copy of data. Blockchain technology can be implemented in many aspects for example in the attendance system in LePKom Gunadarma University based on virtualization. There is an attendance for staff application in LePKom using web application but the database used in the application is centralized. Using centralized database has many disadvantages such us the lost of data or data can be changed by others. The objective of this research is to analyze the implementation of blockchain technology for staff attendance based on web application in VM LePKom. Method of this research used System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The result of this research was blockchain technology can be implemented in attendance application and distributed database. Data was secured using Proof of Work (PoW) consensus Algorithm and can be validated.
Keamanan data sangat penting dilakukan dalam menjaga kerahasiaan informasi itu sendiri, terutama bila informasi tersebut hanya boleh diketahui pihak yang tertentu saja. Pengiriman data atau informasi tanpa dilakukan pengamanan akan beresiko terhadap penyadapan. Sehingga informasi yang ada di dalamnya dapat mudah diketahui oleh pihak-pihak yang tidak berhak, dan hal seperti itu sangat merugikan.Hingga saat ini, kriptografi merupakan salah satu solusi untuk menjamin keamanan dari suatu informasi. Zero Knowledge Proof (ZKP) merupakan protokol kriptografi yang dapat digunakan seseorang untuk membuktikan kepemilikan seseorang (prover) akan suatu informasi rahasia kepada orang lain (verifier), tanpa perlu mengungkapkan informasi tersebut atau memberikan cara bagi orang lain untuk mengetahui rahasia tersebut. Hasil pengujian adalah Zero Knowledge Proof membagi satu aliran data menjadi blok-blok kecil Masing-masing blok ini dienkripsi secara terpisah. Dalam implementasi tanpa bukti pengetahuan, kunci untuk mengenkripsi hanya akan berada pada pengguna, dan dengan itu, ia akan dapat mengenkripsi dan mendekripsi informas, Algoritma zero knowledge proof adalah metode yang unik dimana pengguna dapat membuktikan kepada pengguna lain bahwa dia tahu informasi tambahan.

Kemajuan bidang teknologi dan komunikasi pada kenyataannya banyak disalahgunakan oleh kelompok teroris. Kelompok teroris menggunakan salah satu teknologi transaksi keuangan daring berupa cryptocurrency untuk tujuan ilegal. Hal ini dikarenakan tradisi hawala yang sudah tidak memungkinkan lagi untuk dilakukan dan terdapat beberapa prinsip cryptocurrency yang memberikan peluang lebih besar bagi kelompok teroris untuk bertransaksi serta mencari dana untuk kegiatan operasional mereka. Makalah ini ingin menjawab bagaimana kelompok teroris menggunakan kecanggihan teknologi saat ini berupa cryptocurrency sebagai jalan alternatif dari tradisi hawala untuk tujuan ilegal, dan apa bentuk tindakan penanganan yang baik bagi masalah ini. Makalah ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi cryptocurrency dari sisi sistem, cara penggunaan, tradisi transaksi tradisional hawala, dan bentuk konkret penggunaan cryptocurrency oleh kelompok teroris. Makalah ini juga akan membahas tentang peluang aktor non negara lainnya seperti perusahaan teknologi swasta dalam membantu menangani penyalahgunaan cryptocurrency. Makalah ini menggunakan organizational approach terorisme dan konsep digital counterterrorism.
Money is clearly a primary need of every human being that cannot be avoided, human needs can be realized by using money. Seeing from the lack of systematic literature review papers discussing cryptocurrency, this is a challenge as well as the main purpose of this paper. Along with the development of modernization and globalization which has now entered the industrial era 4.0 revolution there is a blockchain based technology, Cryptocurrency. Cryptocurrency is one of the developments of the blockchain that is often used as a decentralized digital currency. The word Cryptocurrency means a virtual currency that has no physical form, and Cryptocurrency also means that the transaction currency cannot be seen and is safe. This digital currency has many types such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero, and many other types. Although it has no physical form, this currency functions the same as conventional currencies in general and has an exchange rate. Exchange rates on Cryptocurrency fluctuate which means unexpected, this is often exploited by traders. Cryptocurrency transactions in the form of forwarding from one individual to another individual online, therefore they deal directly without a third party. Every technology has advantages and disadvantages aside from efficiency and convenience, Cryptocurrency has the disadvantage of not having the authority responsible for dealing with all problems that occur in all transactions, and money laundering crimes also often occur, this is a challenge for how to utilize Cryptocurrency and blockchain technology in the current era of globalization.
<p>This study aims to examine the effect of stock prices, exchange rates, and gold prices on the Bitcoin price. The data used are the IDX Composite, the Rupiah/ IDR exchange rate, and the daily gold price from July 19, 2010, to December 31, 2018. Regression equation results show that stock prices, exchange rates, and the gold price had a positive effect on Bitcoin price. Changes will follow changes that occur in stock prices, exchange rates, and gold prices in the price of Bitcoin in the same direction. Bitcoin is considered the same as other assets that are worth having in the investment portfolio.</p>
The increasing of digital technology today has helped many people to fulfill their needs. But the election system, still conventionally using paper in its implementation. Elections in general still use a centralized system, where there is an organization that manages it. Some of the problems that may occur in traditional electoral systems are that there are organizations that have full control over the database and system, so the possibility of hacking the database is quite a big opportunity.Blockchain innovation is one arrangement that can be utilized in light of the fact that it has a decentralized framework and the whole database is duplicated by all clients. Blockchain itself has been used by Bitcoin and Ethereum cryptocurrency which is known as a decentralized system. By using the blockchain in database recording on an e-voting system can reduce one source of fraud that is database manipulation. This study discusses the recording of voting data using blockchain technology. The implementation of Smart Contracts contained in the Ethereum Blockchain will be implemented to create this voting system

A trusted achievement record is a secure system that aims to record and authenticate certificates as well as key learning activities and achievements. This paper intends to gather important information on the thoughts and outlooks of stakeholders on an achievement record system that uses blockchain and smart contract technology. The system would allow stakeholders (for example employers) to validate learning records. Two main aims are investigated. The first is to evaluate the suitability of the idea of building a trusted achievement record for learners in higher education, and to evaluate potential user knowledge of blockchain technology. This is to ensure that a designed system is usable. The second aim includes an interview conducted with a small group of participants to gather information about the challenges individuals have when creating, and reviewing CVs. Overall, 90% of participants agreed that there was a strong need for a trusted achievement record. In addition, 93.64% of respondents stated that they felt it was invaluable to have a system that is usable by all stakeholders. When tackling the second aim it was found that a primary challenge is lack of knowledge of blockchain and its complexity. From the employers' perspective, there is a lack of trust due to inaccuracies when students describe skills and qualifications in their resumes.
Conventional certificate verification, whether paper-based or backed by a centralized digital registry, remains exposed to forgery, single points of failure, and slow manual cross-checking between issuers, holders, and verifiers. This paper presents a decentralized, blockchain-based framework for issuing, storing, and verifying academic and professional certificates that addresses these weaknesses without placing the full document on-chain. Each certificate is reduced to a SHA-256 hash, signed with the issuing institution's RSA private key, and recorded through an Ethereum smart contract, while the original file is retained off-chain on IPFS and referenced by its Content Identifier. Only institutions that pass a unanimous, vote-based onboarding process administered by a validator consortium are permitted to issue certificates, which constrains the system to a trusted-issuer model while preserving decentralization across the validator set. A hash-mapped Bloom Filter sits in front of the blockchain query path and performs a fast probabilistic existence check, allowing forged or non-existent certificates to be rejected before an on-chain lookup is triggered. A prototype was implemented with Solidity smart contracts on the Ethereum Sepolia testnet, a Node.js/Web3.js application layer, and a React.js frontend with MetaMask-based authentication. Evaluation on the testnet shows that the Bloom Filter pre-check lowers the average lookup time for invalid certificates by roughly 87%, keeps verification of valid certificates under two seconds end-to-end, holds the false-positive rate below 0.5% for up to 50,000 stored certificate hashes, and reduces the gas cost of issuing a certificate to approximately 4.57 USD. These results indicate that combining consortium governance, cryptographic hashing, and probabilistic filtering yields a certificate validation pipeline that is simultaneously tamper-resistant, low-cost, and fast enough for real-time institutional use.
Ijazah konvensional mempunyai beberapa kekurangan diantaranya yaitu bisa dipalsukan, membutuhkan tempat pemyimpanan yang aman dan bisa rusak. Oleh karena perlu dibuat teknologi informasi yang bisa mengatasi kekurangan tersebut, salah satunya adalah smart contract pada blockchain Ethereum. Smart contract pada blockchain Ethereum memungkinkan membuat ijazah dengan integritas dan keamanan data yang tinggi, sehingga bisa meminimalisir kerusakan dan pemalsuan ijazah. Akan tetapi blockchain Ethereum memerlukan biaya yang besar dalam menyimpan data yang besar. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengukur performa dari pengimplementasian IPFS pada smart contract yang dapat membuat biaya transaksi lebih stabil dan murah sebesar 61,95% dibandingkan dengan blockchain Ethereum tanpa mengimplementasikan IPFS. Selain itu, performa pada smart contract yang mengimplementasikan IPFS dapat meningkatkan performa dari Quality of Service (QoS) dengan parameter throughput sebesar 6,04 kali, Packet Loss 39,47%, dan Latency 42,28%.
Schools are social agents to diffuse merits of technology. The uses of technology foster professional development. Schools have started to make tendencies towards digitalization. Especially learning and teaching contexts become technology supported. In this respect, school infrastructure and learning resources have changed. Teachers play a great role to adopt new changes in learning teaching process to the new generation. This makes innovation in schools to use new technologies and applications for better education practices. This research study aims to create awareness on Edmodo model to teachers and develop their skills on new learning contents for establishing more digitalized school at the secondary education level and analyze the uses of blockchain in school management. The research study was conducted with 21 volunteer teachers working at the secondary level that they get training on the use of Edmodo Content Management System. Case study through action research was done in this research study that self-report was used to gain experiences of teachers. By this way, educational online environment was created for teachers for the uses of learning-teaching process. Research results revealed that teachers enhance their skills and knowledge about the use of the Edmodo content management system increased compared to the pre-seminar. In addition, they gained online collaboration and research skills. This practice created the culture of technology based innovation for their schools.
The utilisation of blockchain has moved beyond digital currency to other fields such as health, the Internet of Things, and education. In this paper, we present a systematic mapping study to collect and analyse relevant research on blockchain technology related to the higher education field. The paper concentrates on two main themes. First, it examines state of the art in blockchain-based applications that have been developed for educational purposes. Second, it summarises the challenges and research gaps that need to be addressed in future studies.
Autentifikasi arsip, terutama pada arsip elektronik, masih dianggap sebagai isu di dunia kearsipan. Teknologi Blockchain, yang terlebih dahulu digunakan pada mata uang digital, dianggap dapat menjadi penyelesai masalah tersebut. Blockhain dianggap dapat membawa dampak yang signifikan pada pengelolaan kearsipan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi penerapan teknologi Blockchain di bidang kearsipan, meliputi; cara kerja, contoh penerapan, peluang, dan tantangannya hingga kontradiksi teknologi blockchain pada ilmu kearsipan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan sumber data literatur di berbagai bidang dikaitkan dengan konsep dasar ilmu kearsipan sebagai dasar analisis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beragam peluang yang dapat dikembangkan dengan blockhain. Tantangan dalam implementasi, khususnya di Indonesia serta kontradiksi teknologi blockchain dengan konsep dasar ilmu kearsipan. Secara umum penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa perlu kajian lebih mendalam agar teknologi blockchain dapat memenuhi kepatuhan pada konsep dan prinsip dasar pada ilmu kearsipan, utamanya dalam hal autentisitas.ABSTRACTThe archival authentication is still considered as an important issue. Blockchain technology, which was previously used in digital currencies, is considered to be the solution to the issue. This study discusses the application of blockchain technology in the archival field; how it works, its implementation, opportunities, challenges, and the contradiction of blockchain technology in the archival field. This study uses a qualitative method with literature sources obtained from various fields with the basic concept of archival science used as the basis for analysis. The study indicated that there vary of opportunities that can be developed with blockchain. The challenges in implementation, especially in Indonesia and the contradiction of blockchain technology with the basic concept of archival science. In conclusion, it needs deeper study to be done so that the blockchain technology can meet the needs of the basic concepts and principles of archival science, which are related to authenticity.
<p><em>Market place </em>bitcoin adalah suatu bentuk pasar komoditas tempat bertemunya penjual dan pembeli bitcoin, meskipun tidak benar-benar berwujud seperti pasar yang biasa kita kenal. Akan tetapi, terdapat berbagai hambatan yang dapat mengganggu kenyamanan dan kestabilan <em>profit </em>saat <em>trading </em>manual di pasar bitcoin<em> </em>yaitu kurangnya pengalaman, tekanan psikologis, seperti rasa serakah, terlalu percaya diri, tidak sabar, emosi, dan juga <em>trader </em>harus terus-menerus di depan komputer untuk menjaga dan mengkontrol situasi di pasar. Pembuatan aplikasi<em> </em>berisi tentang sistem <em>trading </em>menggunakan indikator <em>Moving Average,</em> <em>Relative Strenght Index, </em>dan <em>Bollinger Bands. </em>Aplikasi ini dibuat untuk di implementasikan dalam <em>Website </em>dengan bahasa <em>PHP. AJAX </em>yang diaplikasikan pada Aplikasi<em> </em>sekaligus sebagai <em>Function </em>agar data yang didapat secara <em>realtime. </em>Hasil dari perancangan aplikasi ini telah tercipta sebuah aplikasi yang dapat membantu <em>trader </em>dan berguna untuk mempermudah kinerja <em>trader </em>di pasar bitcoin. Pengguna aplikasi ini adalah para <em>user </em>yang telah melakukan <em>registrasi </em>pada <em>market place</em> dengan membuka <em>account</em>, tidak terbatas pada trader pemula, juga <em>trader </em>professional.</p>
Proses pelaksanaan edukasi secara global hakekatnya belum dapat mengikuti perkembangan zaman saat ini. Berbagai permasalahan saat ini tengah dihadapi oleh sektor pendidikan, dalam hal ini sebut saja permasalahan verifikasi dan adanya pihak ketiga dalam penanganan sertifikat yang merupakan luaran mikro maupun makro dari sebuah proses pembelajaran. Adanya mercusuar tentang teknologi Blockchain, kerap disebut sebagai salah solusi revolusioner dari polemik pendidikan selama ini. Perpaduan antara bidang edukasi dan teknologi blockchain akan menciptakan revolusi baru dari industri pendidikan. Terdapat berbagai pencerahan dari solusi ini, namun dirasa belum cukup untuk menjelaskan karakteristik blockchain secara detail dari edukasi menggunakan blockchain, yang secara keseluruhan membahas tentang keberadaan blockchain for education berdasarkan kajian ilmu. Karakteristik blockchain ini dimasa depan akan sangat berguna sebagai platform literatur bagi peneliti yang akan memulai penelitian dasar dan terapan yang menjurus ke arah blockchain for education. Disamping itu, dari segi biaya, ruang penyimpanan, dan kecepatan teknologi blockchain akan diusulkan solusinya dalam bentuk framework. Alhasil, penelitian ini juga bisa menjadi landasan platform serta karakteristik blockchain baru sebagai cikal bakal pemerintahan berbasis teknologi blockchain.

Adanya mercusuar tentang Blockchain, disebut orang orang sebagai solusi dari masalah polemik pendidikan selama ini. Perpaduan ilmu antara bidang edukasi dan teknologi blockchain akan menciptakan revolusi baru dari industri pendidikan yang dirasa mandek dan tidak sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman saat ini. Terdapat berbagai pencerahan dari solusi ini, namun dirasa belum cukup untuk secara detail menjelaskan ontologi dari edukasi menggunakan blockchain, yang secara keseluruhan membahas tentang keberadaan blockchain for education berdasarkan kajian ilmu. Ontologi for education ini akan berguna sebagai platform literatur bagi peneliti yang akan memulai penelitian dasar dan terapan yang menjurus ke arah blockchain for education. Disamping itu, adanya kelemahan dan inefisiensi dari blockchain yaitu dari segi biaya, ruang penyimpanan, dan kecepatan akan diusulkan solusinya melalui in-chain dan off-chain protocol dalam bentuk framework. Alhasil, penelitian ini juga bisa menjadi landasan platform baru sebagai solusi bagi pemerintah dalam meluncurkan edukasi berbasis blockchain, yang menjadi cikal bakal untuk menciptakan pemerintahan berbasis blockchain.
Penerapan Teknologi Blockchain guna memberikan keamanan terhadap keamanan sertifikat di era digital 4.0 agar tidak terjadinya manipulasi oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Dengan menggunakan metode perumusan masalah, perancangan penelitian, pengumpulan data, pengolahan & penyajian data, analisa & laporan penelitian dan metode penelitian 7 (tujuh) literature review. Hal ini diharapkan agar dapat menyelesaikan permasalahan keamanan sertifikat itu sendiri. Saat ini keamanan dalam sertifikat masih sangat minim, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan adanya teknologi blockchain untuk mengamankan sertifikat dari proses manipulasi oleh pihak yang tidak bertanggung jawab. Secara khusus, terdapat 2 (dua) manfaat dari penelitian ini yang menggunakan teknologi blockchain, (1) Sertifikat menjadi lebih aman dengan adanya kode enkripsi, (2) Sertifikat menjadi lebih transparan dengan adanya blockchain. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan kode enkripsi ke dalam sistem keamanan sertifikat menggunakan teknologi blockchain dimana saat ini banyaknya kasus manipulasi data di dalam sertifikat.
In this paper, we report the benchmarking results of Hyperledger, a Distributed Ledger, which is the derivation Blockchain Technology. Method to evaluate Hyperledger in a limited infrastructure is developed. The measured infrastructure consists of 8 nodes with a load of up to 20000 transactions/second.. The benchmarking of Hyperledger shows better than a database system in a high workload scenario. We found that the maximum size data volume in one transaction on the Hyperledger network is around ten (10) times of MySQL. Also, the time spent on processing a single transaction in the blockchain network is 80-200 times faster than MySQL. This initial analysis can provide an overview for practitioners in making decisions about the adoption of blockchain technology in their IT systems.
Bitcoin is a cryptographic-based digital commodity, also known as virtual currency or digital currency, which is used as a means of transactions and investments. In Indonesia the use of bitcoin is not merely a matter of technology, but has entered the realm of fiqh. An interesting phenomenon related to this is the response of several Islamic organizations and also study forums at Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia in addressing the bitcoin issue. Among them is Bahtsul Masail, the Nahdlatul Ulama Regional Manager (PWNU) in East Java in 2018. According to Bahtsul Masail's decision on the fiqh view of the use of bitcoin as a transaction and investment tool, it is legal, and may be used for muamalah. This is different from the results of the bahtsul masail in Ma'had Aly Hasyim Asy'ari Tebuireng Jombang, that bitcoin is classified as a virtual asset like dain (accounts receivable). And can be used as a legal transaction tool. But if bitcoin is used as an investment tool then the law is haram because the bitcoin exchange rate is very volatile. Based on this background, a problem arises, namely how to analyze the decision of Bahtsul Masail Ma'had Aly Hasyim Asy'ari about bitcoin and use what method to view bitcoin. The type of research used is library research. Using a normative legal approach (doctrinal), then the research is presented using descriptive techniques. In bahtsul masail using the ijtihad jama'i and ijtihad tatbiqi methods, in bahtsul masail using the term ilhaq, based on evidence, that bitcoin is equated with speculation (gambling), it is illegal.

Abstract In this day and age, access to the Internet has become very easy, thereby providing access to different educational resources posted on the cloud even easier. Open access to resources, such as research journals, publications, articles in periodicals etc. is restricted to retain their authenticity and integrity, as well as to track and record their usage in the form of citations. This gives the author of the resource his fair share of credibility in the community, but this may not be the case with open educational resources such as lecture notes, presentations, test papers, reports etc. that are produced and used internally within an organisation or multiple organisations. This calls for the need to build a system that stores a permanent and immutable repository of these resources in addition to keeping a track record of who utilises them. Keeping in view the above-mentioned problem in mind, the present research attempts to explore how a Blockchain based system called Block-ED can be used to help the educational community manage their resources in a way to avoid any unauthorised manipulations or alterations to the documents, as well as recognise how this system can provide an innovative method of giving credibility to the creator of the resource whenever it is utilised.
Blockchain is the core technology used to create cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin. As one part of the fourth industrial Revolution since the invention of steam engines, electricity, and information technology, blockchain technology has begun to be applied in areas such as finance, judiciary, and trade. Blockchain technology uses decentralized, distributed and transparency techniques for data security. This research aims to determine the implementation of blockchain technology in the field of education, especially in the Data Security section. The study uses two methods namely the mind mapping method and literature review. The results of this study showed that with the presence of blockchain technology, the data is more secure from attacks from both inside and outside because it passes through two levels of security, namely encryption and decentralized data.
As we know, Indonesia has begun to enter the era of revolution 4.0 which in that era there were many changes in all fields including the presence of blockchain technology which began to be in demand. Including in the field of education, the changes that occur in the world of education today are so significant with the commencement of the abandonment of teaching methods that still use conventional methods. Keep track of tasks by book, face to face communication, which of course will cause many losses in a certain period of time, as many tasks that have long been buried become difficult to find when needed, and the possibility of manipulation of tasks is still great. The learning method is considered as a boring and insecure way, where students cannot explore learning because the collected files can still be manipulated by other parties. So from now on the application of learning methods is changed by the concept of gamification which relies on blockchain technology. The gamification learning method was created to compensate for the times when students preferred to play games rather than learning, therefore the gamification method could be applied to management education in higher education.
The application of blockchain technology in e-certificates in the open journal system is needed to validate and distribute managed e-certificates in each journal issue. With tools in the form of conceptualized and managed blockcerts allows users to use and verify the authenticity of e-certificates that are closely linked to the blockchain. Observation on the open journal system and applied blockchain tools in the form of blockcerts as a place to issue e-certificates with guaranteed security so that e-certificates are verified as well as managed data. Issuance of e-certificates is still considered unsafe because it can be easily forged. Specifically, this study produced two benefits, namely: (1) Issuance of e-certificates in an open journal system is more verified, data is managed and there will not be duplications or even falsification of e-certificates. (2) The reputation of the open journal system is better with a sense of trust. This research uses library study method by implementing e-certificate in an open journal system with blockchain technology tools such as blockcerts. In order that the results of the e-certificate issuance go well and to avoid any crime that threatens the authenticity of the e-certificate, this blockchain is used to guarantee that the e-certificate is safe and not easily falsified, duplicated or even easily replaced by those not granted access rights. By using blockchain technology, the data collected will be well managed and not easily falsified.
There is no uncertainty that the chroma currency is very popular for the transaction information stored in the block of blocks. To initiate the importance of blocking, there is only one distributed ledger in which data is stored, since many of the centers in the blockchain network limit enough records for these records. This document proposes a decision-making framework based on innovation to create a secure, unjustifiable, accurate and transparent framework for voter privacy. In addition, it is voted and declared in this context that the race has a short period of time, since it is automatically registered in the table.
