Optimization of Green Finance Using AI and Blockchain in Inventory Management
Abstract
Study examines positions assumed by Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Green Finance to see how each separately and collectively might play a role in the inventory management systems to contribute to sustainability and financial efficiency. AI, in its data-driven predictive power, optimizes the processes of inventory through improved demand forecasting, reduced waste, and resource usage. Blockchain ensures much-needed transparency, traceability, and accountability throughout value chains, enabling the verifiability of more precise sustainability metrics via smart contracts, which can automate Green Finance agreements. Integration of these technologies serves to align inventory management toward sustainability goals of reduced carbon footprint and energy efficiency. The paper reviews the literature, examines key models and frameworks, and discusses the potentials of AI and Blockchain to influence sustainable practices and financial outcomes in inventory management. Future research opportunities are outlined to address current gaps and enhance the adoption in real-world applications of the subject technologies.
