A priority-reservation queueing-based approach for Blockchain-assisted smart-grid system
Abstract
Most IoT-enabled smart grids are centralized. Blockchain-based decentralized systems are secure, private, transparent, stable, and auditable. Since Blockchain transactions are immutable, energy trade and tracking are more straightforward. Scalable connection and access control management are implemented in these networks through the queueing concept. By keeping this in mind, the present article proposes a priorityreservation queueing-based analytical model for Blockchain-assisted smart grid systems to facilitate easy accessibility between consumers and distributors. We also present various numerical findings to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.
