A Brief Overview of Various Blockchain Interoperability Models in Healthcare
Abstract
This study analyses several blockchain interoperability models in healthcare. The utilization of the blockchain has demonstrated promise in bolstering information security, safeguarding patient confidentiality, and optimizing the efficacy of medical services within the healthcare sector. However, the different blockchain can cooperate and data interoperability is a big issue, which directly affect the data integrity in healthcare sector. In this paper we study the comparisons of different blockchain interoperability models. We evaluate each model based on how well it integrates with current healthcare systems, how secure it is, and how easy it is to scale. Case studies and healthcare applications of these models demonstrate their practical consequences and restrictions, enriching the comparative study. Additionally, we have noted several difficulties and possible directions for healthcare interoperability advancement.
