E-governance Through Blockchain Technology. A Review

Abstract

Blockchain technology can be used for e-governance. Several countries had started the initiatives and the major focus of the application of blockchain technology for e-governance according to academic documents were on feedback systems, voting systems, vehicle certification, e-tendering platforms, port management police complaint management, paperless government services, protection of intellectual property rights and land registration. Future research can be on implementation challenges and newer fields of application of blockchain technology for e-governance. The research trends on the parameters of top authors, countries, research institutes, and funding sponsors were included in this paper.
