Authors:Osy FatikawatiDirgantara Wicaksono

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to design, develop, and evaluate a Web3-based digital portfolio platform aimed at enhancing the creative capabilities of 22 tenth-grade students in 2D Nirmana visual arts education. Method: Utilizing a Research and Development (R&D) methodology, the study synergizes the ASSURE instructional design model with the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) framework. Data collection instruments included expert validation rubrics, student practicality questionnaires, and pretest-posttest rubrics designed to measure multidimensional creative outputs. Findings: Expert validation confirmed that the platform is "highly feasible" for classroom integration. Paired-samples t-tests revealed statistically significant improvements in students' artistic originality, fluency, and spatial reasoning. Furthermore, user feedback indicated exceptionally high practicality, engagement, and usability among high school students. Practical implications: The platform provides art educators with a secure, immutable assessment infrastructure that authentically logs, tracks, and protects students' creative trajectories without relying on centralized storage systems. Originality/value: This research pioneers the application of decentralized Web3 architecture within high school visual arts education, establishing a novel framework for digital intellectual property protection and creative ownership for young artists.
