Abstract

This pamphlet argues that the fiat monetary system is fundamentally incompatible with the deflationary nature of technological progress. It proposes an Energy Standard — a decentralized, blockchain-based currency backed by physically produced kilowatt-hours — as a thermodynamic anchor for money in the age of AI and robotics.
