BIoT (Blockchain-based IoT) Framework for Disaster Management

Abstract

Disasters have a global influence on human life, the environment, wealth, and infrastructure. Information and communication technologies (ICT) play a significant part in dealing with these calamities by allowing and combining diverse technical efforts to build disaster management systems. The Internet of Things (IoT) and Blockchain have sought tremendous attention throughout the globe and across industries. The significant success with the adoption of IoT and Blockchain in many fields has piqued the interest of many stakeholders in disaster management. This study describes an overview of how IoT and blockchain can enhance the performance of disaster management practices.
