Adopting the Security of a Standardized Digital Learning Platform, the HYPHENUS: A Blockchain-Based Framework
Abstract
In this modern era, digital learning has become a viable option for students. This type of learning may indeed be aided by a variety of platforms. The platforms, on the other hand, are each segregated into their own tools, rather than combining all of the necessary tools into a single platform. As a result, one of the main objectives of this study is to combine digital learning resources into a standardized digital learning platform. There is a security risk with today’s technology and Web. The data in the system are not secure and are vulnerable. A security framework is required to overcome this. As a result, the study’s next goal is to offer a blockchain-based framework for the integrated platform. Blockchain is a distributed ledger that uses cryptography 4 and distributed mechanisms to keep track of transactions. The proposed architecture is built on a smart contract blockchain and includes a role-based access control system. A semi structured interview based on the prototype was utilized to conduct a thematic analysis. Based on the CIA trinity of confidentiality, integrity, and availability, the evaluation recommends that the data and users will be protected by the security that was examined.
