A Secured Blockchain-Based Smart Contract for Vehicle Anti-Theft System
Abstract
The theft of vehicles has significantly increased during the past few years. In our society, it is ostracized. Due to the lack of an effective theft detection method, the effects of car theft have been severely impacting both the social protection and financial strength of the entire world. The few vehicle anti-theft methods that are now in use have serious issues with data protection, personal data leaks, centralized systems, and proper key management. This article suggests a blockchain-based vehicle anti-theft framework (B-VATF) that tackles these issues via smart contracts (SC). The use of Blockchain regarding vehicle safety is also discussed in this article, along with a step-by-step execution of the suggested technique that includes test results and a thorough analysis of crucial comparisons with other current systems. With the assistance of B-VATF, more than one individual might be permitted to operate a car without damaging its data or compromising security.
