Modern Apprenticeship Reform in France

Abstract

Modern apprenticeship is the priority of current vocational education reform in France. This article overviews the reform, including the background, the achievements, the management and the pedagogy. It reflects on the features of the reform in the end: government-led, decentralization, higher education level, financing drive and quality assurance.
