Improving integrated medical and elderly care services with blockchain and smart contract

Abstract

Elderly care pressure is becoming increasingly severe, and a socialized elderly care service system suitable for China's national conditions needs to be established. On the basis of analyzing the actual needs of integrated medical and elderly care services, an integrated medical and elderly care services architecture is designed to achieve four services: chronic disease management, health promotion, emergency assistance and daily life service. A blockchain based network topology structure is constructed for elderly care services. At the same time, it adopts blockchain and smart contract technology to provide the function of health data deposit and traceability for the elderly care service, which guarantees the authenticity, reliability and security of the data. It provides technical support and direction for the construction of the social elderly care service system based on "home-based, community-supported, and institution-backed".
