Trusted Payment Methods Based on Blockchain For Electronic Government Services
Abstract
Secure, effective, and reliable payment systems are essential as electronic government services take center stage in contemporary governance. Blockchain technology offers a strong response to these objectives because of its reputation for cryptographic security and transparency. This study examines the usage of blockchain-based payment systems in the context of electronic government services with an eye on how they might improve user security and trust. This paper will propose a new trusted payment solution for e-government services, based on distributed ledger technology. The goal of this proposal is to improve the transparency, security, and trustworthiness of payments made to government agencies. The proposed solution will be based on the principles of blockchain and will include a consensus mechanism to ensure speed and accuracy of transactions. The proposed payment network will be consumer-friendly and enable both direct payments and the satisfaction of financial obligations. The paper will also discuss the challenges that must be overcome 83in order to maximize the potential of blockchain technology for e-government services, such as scalability, privacy, and regulatory compliance. Finally, the paper will outline how the proposed solution can be implemented, and potential options for incentivizing the adoption of the new system. This paper will be of great value to those interested in the potential of blockchain and distributed ledger technology for revolutionizing the government services sector.
