Blockchain-Enabled Fleet Management System for Large Transportation Companies

Abstract

This work highlights the strategic importance of combining blockchain technology with fleet management in logistics companies. Our work proposes using blockchain for fleet management in large logisitics companies. The work focuses on managing communication among all entities in the network in a transparent way. The fleet management system is implemented on an Ethereum smart contract. To ascertain the level of security of the proposed system, a vulnerability test was carried out on the implemented smart contract, and a security score of 94 % was achieved. The computational cost of the entire system function is presented in this work too.
