CONCEPT, IMPORTANCE AND FEATURES OF SMART CONTRACTS IN DIGITAL CIVIL RELATIONS

Abstract

The article researches the importance of smart contracts in modern civil relations, and scientific approaches to understanding it. In particular, the views of scientists who have studied smart contracts as a machine that ensures the fulfillment of contract terms have been put into scientific discussion, and the author's position on this view has been expressed. The views of scientists studying smart contracts as a computer program have been discussed in terms of theoretical and civil law. Thepositions of researchers who approach this legal reality as a form of contract, a means of fulfillment of an obligation, or a special type of contract have been scientifically analyzed and conclusions have been drawn.
