Abstract
The fintech industry is experiencing rapid transformation driven by technological advancements, regulatory changes, and evolving consumer preferences. Emerging trends such as blockchain, artificial intelligence (AI), decentralized finance (DeFi), and embedded finance are reshaping financial services. These innovations are enhancing efficiency, improving financial inclusion, and disrupting traditional banking models. In India, fintech has gained significant traction due to increasing smartphone penetration and digital payment adoption. However, challenges such as cybersecurity threats, regulatory compliance, and financial literacy persist. This study examines emerging fintech trends, their impact on the Indian and global economy, and the sustainability and social implications of these advancements.
