Authors:Girish R. NaikPoornima G. Naik

Abstract

The rising significance of blockchain technology in academia is underscored by its potential to solve pressing challenges in data security, transparency, and management within educational institutions. The current research delves into creating a secure and transparent academic assessment framework leveraging Ethereum smart contracts. Through the Ethereum blockchain, this research tackles crucial concerns such as safeguarding data privacy, ensuring interoperability, and enhancing user experience which are inherent into blockchain technology. The proposed framework employs role-specific access controls, fortifies data integrity and privacy, and adheres to academic regulations. Further, it prioritizes developing an intuitive interface to improve user interaction. The study’s thorough methodology encompasses blockchain tools, system workflows, validation techniques, and a layered architecture. Implementation and testing results indicate the system’s effectiveness in providing a fraud-resistant, efficient, and accountable academic assessment solution, paving the way for future advancements and the adoption of blockchain in education.
