Empirical Validation of Effecting Cryptocurrency Service Characteristics on User Intention - Focusing on Paycoin Payment Service
Abstract
The purpose of this study is how cryptocurrency service characteristics personal affect the continued intention to use. ETAM (Extended Technical Acceptance Model) model is validated as a theoretical background, selecting personal characteristics, system characteristics, cryptocurrency service characteristics, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, continued intention to use. The method of this study used questionnaire survey to collect 473 data on user’s perception on cryptocurrency services, and also performed a structural equation modeling method using by AMOS 23. The result of this paper shows that 7 hypotheses are accepted statistically significant except 5 hypothesis among 12 hypotheses. This research is concluded that innovation, convenience, security risk, and economic feasibility is affected on statistically positive impact on perceived ease of use, not statistically social impact reliability. In addition to this, convenience, reliability, economic feasibility is affected on statistically positive impact on perceived usefulness, not statistically innovation, social impact, security risk.
