Building Multi-location, Trustful and High Availability Platforms with Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies: A Review
Abstract
The World Wide Web has evolved dramatically since its invention, its first generation was known as Web 1.0 which was a read only environment, then came Web 2.0 which granted the writing and editing capabilities to the use, but the ownership of the network was still centralized through the two generations. Then came Web 3.0 with the key emphasis to decentralize the network i.e., to transfer the ownership to the people instead of one governing body as its head. With the development of Web 3.0 the major areas which are currently worked upon are Cryptocurrencies and its underlying technology Blockchain. This paper traces the development of the blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies and its acceptance amongst the people.
