Scope of Blockchain in Building a Decentralized Approach for Political Ecosystems
Abstract
This paper investigates how blockchain technology may distribute political processes and boost public involvement, responsibility, and openness. By eliminating intermediaries and central control, distributed ledger technology can guard and validate policy implementation, governance, and electoral processes in a trustless blockchain environment. The article investigates vote fraud and corruption in political environments and how blockchain's immutability, decentralisation, and smart contracts could help to address them. The paper also discusses scalability, privacy, and legal concerns of blockchain application in politics as well as suggests strategies to increase political democracy and openness. In the proposed blockchain-based political ecosystem, a conditional block diagram addresses voting registration, casting, verification, result tallying, transparent campaign finance, simplified governance procedures, scalability and adoption strategies, regulatory and ethical issues. Steps of the system include voter registration, safe transmission, smart contract confirmation, and result recording. It then checks documents, streamlines government, and applies open campaign funding. Blockchain speed, user accessibility, and stakeholder participation are other benefits of the technology. Regulation and ethics guarantee legal compliance and appropriate methods of privacy and security.
