Blockchain-Based DApp for Drug Supply Chain With AI-Driven Drug Recommender System
Abstract
Drugs exchanged between entities require a complex management system since they are confidential. Drug supply chain management needs data confidentiality and integrity. Over and above, the security of such a system is essential, evoking the necessity for authorization. Blockchain solely ensures the confidentiality, integrity, immutability, and security of the system. Several studies failed in real-world implementation, some resulting in higher gas prices, while others failed to join the supply chain node. The study leverages Ethereum-based blockchain technology to enhance tracking and authorization within the supply chain, achieving a potential 70% reduction in counterfeit drug circulation through improved transparency and authentication. Simulation of the security for consumer-based electronics, particularly mining systems, is chiefly incorporated. In addition, entities in the network are provided with different levels of access establishing authorization in the digital electronic world. Real-world transactions are deployed on the Sepolia test network, chosen for its lightweight infrastructure and seamless compatibility with Ethereum tools, enabling efficient transaction monitoring through Infura and Truffle Suite. Infura is used to record and monitor transactional statistics for Truffle Suite configuration. A DApp is designed to enhance the ability of entities to utilize the application. In addition, a drug recommender system is integrated using the ResNet model for the end user to perceive drug descriptions, achieving 92% accuracy.
