Blockchain based Approach for Logging and Dispersing Government Resources
Abstract
State governments are charged with numerous obligations including the administration of public services, the development of infrastructure, assistance to agriculture, and the distribution of resources. Yet their governance is often plagued by inefficiencies and low-grade corruption, denying transparency and accountability. In fact, one of the biggest nightmare challenges is financing contracts, employee payrolls, and the distribution of resources for public use. To address these challenges, we propose an intelligent system based on blockchain technology for monitoring and managing financial transactions, including investments in forex mechanisms. Crypto hashing and concurrent decentralized validation among nodes combine to create a secure, reversible, tamper-proof, and transparent ledger within a blockchain framework. With the aid of such an architecture, the government can now track and verify transactions in real-time, facilitating a decrease in fraud and creating avenues for trust building in public financial transactions. With the adoption of the proposed blockchain application, state governments will enhance efficiency, security, and transparency in financial transactions. The proposed application-enhanced trust and accountability in resource utilization will encourage innovative governance through a highly secured and immutable record-keeping methodology.
