Enhancing Trust and Security in Digital Ecosystems with Blockchain Technology
Abstract
Blockchain as an innovative technology has revealed itself as the method of increasing credibility and protection in digital environments. The subject of this paper is the introduction of blockchain in different fields of activity, particularly considering the innovative possibilities that can help solve major problems, including data authenticity, openness, and decentralization. Through cryptographic approaches and decentralised ledger structures, blockchain guarantees safe information transmission and unalterable transaction histories in multiple domains: supply chain, Finance, and healthcare. Introducing a new paradigm for blockchain implementation, the study focuses on the issues of scalability and energy consumption as well as on integration with other technologies. A review of key challenges in consensus mechanisms including vulnerabilities, regulatory measures, and privacy issues is made and solutions suggested. The paper provides a theoretical contribution through the application of experiments and empirical studies to illustrate the potential of blockchain that will foster the development of a dependable, reliable and safe digital environment in interconnected advanced societies.
