Abstract

The world is progressing, but it needs healthy people to succeed, and health records are a measure of human health across time. When health records are stored in a single system, data breaches might occur. A data breach will cost healthcare organizations $ 380 per record, according to estimates. Incidents reported to the federal government in 2021 resulted in the compromising of more than 40 million medical records this year. As a result, we switched to a record-keeping center, Which has not made a great deal of a difference. Because the patient has no control over the data, there is a high chance of it being mishandled. As a result, we require a patient-centered strategy that is entirely decentralized, capable of detecting data theft, preventing data tampering, and granting patients access control. Blockchain technology is the most effective way to solve all problems and meet all needs. As a decentralized and distributed ledger, blockchain has the potential to impact billing, medical research, identity theft, record sharing, and data crimes in the future. In the department of health, Smart contracts help to clarify things more particularly. On the Blockchain, invocation, record creation, and validation will all take place. This article mainly focuses on the maintenance of the patients-focused architecture of health records with the use of blockchain, so here smart contracts can be used to modify or be newly added in the future to increase data interchange potential.
