Blockchain-based Organ Supply Chain Framework for Healthcare 4.0: A Smart Contract Approach
Abstract
The organ supply chain plays a crucial role in order to give new life to patients who need organs and improving their quality of life. In a traditional Organ supply chain, there are privacy and transparency issues due to the centralized system. To address those issues, we have proposed a blockchain-based framework. In that, we have made two smart contracts, one for the Donor side and Another for the Recipient. Data of the Donor and Recipient are stored in the Decentralized Database IPFS. We have presented a mathematical model for our framework and presented a graphical comparison of all the functions that are used in smart contracts based on Transaction cost and Execution cost.
