Comparison of the Consumer Blockchain (CB) and the Óbuda Ethereum Private Blockchain (ÓEPB) to Store Even More Secure Consumer Habits

Abstract

To protect consumer data, companies and various service providers must do everything possible to ensure that personal consumer data is not compromised. In the past, there have been many cases where it has been proven that centralized data storage is not secure, and due to corporate negligence, sensitive consumer data has fallen into unauthorized hands. In such a case, the good reputation of the company may also be at risk, which may have serious consequences in the long run. To avoid this, the research goal is to present a blockchain that uses a decentralized solution that meets even the strictest data storage requirements. Nowadays, few blockchains are suitable for storing large data and with fast operation, although this is necessary to store consumer data. Consumer Blockchain (CB) and ÓEPB (Óbuda Ethereum Private Blockchain) are suitable for storing such data, despite using two different blockchain solutions. The research aims to reveal which of the two private blockchains is the most suitable for this purpose. While the blockchain called CB shows a great similarity with the blockchain of Bitcoin (BTC), OEPB is based on Ethereum (ETH) solutions.
