Abstract

In recent times, there has been an increase in the use of technologies like Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR). These technologies serve various purposes in the Metaverse. Metaverse is also integrated with blockchain technology and this has lead to various innovative developments in virtual and physical real estate transactions. However, this has also increased the probability of vulnerabilities in these transactions involving Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. An impersonator pretending to be a genuine buyer may hack into these systems and get access to restricted data. This paper proposes an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based framework for detecting malicious transactions in the metaverse. Our model uses various machine learning (ML) algorithms to classify the transactions into malicious and non-malicious transactions. By incorporating an AI detection mechanism, we aim to reduce the fraudulent transactions in the metaverse. The experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of our method, showing good performance in terms of accuracy, precision, recall, and Fl-score when applied to real estate transactions.
