CharityChain – A Way for Distributed Charity Donations

Authors:Prathamesh Kotwal *

Abstract

Donors are suspicious of how their funds are being spent. Charities are susceptible to the same sorts of fraud that plague companies, such as embezzlement and executive misappropriation of funds. Blockchain technology has recently been utilised in a variety of industries. You can make the process of sending and receiving money more transparent by using blockchain technology. It is vital to provide a single platform for monitoring donations that will keep track of all contribution, transaction, and donor information. The goal of this article is to illustrate how a blockchain-based infrastructure may be used to track donations. The system, which is based on blockchain technology, gives contributors, charity foundations, and recipients with transparent accounting of activities. On a philanthropic platform, a transparent contribution channel should be offered, allowing public users and donors to see and monitor where, when, and to whom charitable gifts were sent. Key Words: Smart contract, etherium, blockchain, transactions, Ledger.
