Abstract
This research paper explores the potential of blockchain technology to enhance the security of smart systems. Blockchain technology is a distributed ledger technology that provides a secure, immutable and transparent platform for data storage and transactions. This paper first provides an introduction to the fundamentals of blockchain technology and its security benefits. We then look into the definition of smart systems and their unique security requirements. We then investigate the potential of blockchain technology to meet the security requirements of smart systems. We review the advantages and disadvantages of using blockchain technology for smart security. We also look at existing blockchain technologies and their security features. We analyze the potential of these technologies to improve the security of smart systems and discuss their potential future role. Finally, we present our conclusions and discuss the implications of our findings.
