Arte Digital, NFTs, Inteligência Artificial e a (r)evolução da expressão artística em obras de Damien Hirst e Lev Manovich

Abstract

This paper presents a study of new digital art technologies, as digital NFT (Non-Fungible Tokens), and generative Artificial Intelligence, through the practice of two contemporary artists, namely Damien Hirst (1965 -) and Lev Manovich (1960 -).We will discuss some aspects of Hirst's "The Currency" (2016-2022) and Manovich's "Soviet Land" (2022) to understand how artists are incorporating these new technologies into their practices and how they revolutionize contemporary artistic expression.
