Literary NFTs in Modern Publishing Practice

Abstract

This article explores a new type of publishing project — literary NFTs (non-fungible tokens). The concept of «literary NFTs» is defined, and the features of using non-fungible tokens in contemporary book publishing are examined. The article presents examples of the first NFT-based publishing houses, non-fungible editions, and digital platforms built on blockchain technology, analyzing their impact on the publishing industry. The study addresses both the technological and cultural dimensions of integrating NFTs into publishing, including issues of decentralization, authorship, digital uniqueness of texts, and audience engagement.
