Abstract

Not only economies are affected by this wave of digitization and digitalization that has come with the fourth industrial revolution. The structures of our political states are also being affected. What do new digital states hold for the future of interaction? Already the core structures are being altered by technology, from Decentralized Autonomous Organizations (DAOs) to smart contracts and the meta-verse. The possibilities for the structure of a new digital state, enabled by a digital social contract, are limitless.
