The advancement of technology brings tremendous challenges and opportunities to the legal industry. This article will examine the blockchain technology, in particular the decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) and its unique governance features compared with traditional companies. This article also intends to provide recommendations for law firms to prepare for the challenges brought by blockchain technology.
