IoT Architecture Based on ABAC Smart Contract

Abstract

In recent years, the combination of IoT and daily life is increasing. However, incidents caused by IoT security problems have also emerged endlessly. This paper analyzes the requirements of current IoT structure and the benefits of the combination of blockchain and IoT in this environment. Based on this, this paper uses the smart contract to implement the ABAC access control model on the blockchain and combines the IPFS file system to build a decentralized IoT architecture that can provide secure access control. The prototype of this system is tested in this paper, which verifies the feasibility of the system and confirms certain performance advantages of the architecture.
