Securing Non-Fungible Tokens: An Enhanced Access Control Model with Modified RSA Encryption

Authors:Niraj Anil PatilNikhil B. Khandare

Abstract

Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are cryptographic assets on a blockchain. Blockchain by definition is a public ledger. NFTs are becoming a tool to collect and share digital art as well as providing an investment opportunity. Most NFT Marketplaces are built on top of popular blockchains which are not equipped with privacy tools. As a result, NFTs are publicly visible. This poses an issue when the owner wants limit the access to their NFTs. This research aims to build a system to tackle this problem. Specifically, it will use the Public Key Encryption Algorithm: RSA to limit the access to the NFT.
