Document verification using Blockchain
Abstract
Among the most important documents for graduates are diplomas issued by schools or colleges or any educational institutions. Graduates' transcripts serve as proof of their qualifications and may be used for job applications or any other similar purposes. Important documents like passports, ID cards, and certificates can now be falsified because of the advancement of computer science and also the introduction of reasonably priced, office equipment which are of high quality into the marketplace. On the other hand, traditional certificate verification is costly and time-consuming. The goal of this research is to create a workable model that offers viable solutions for the blockchain-based issuance and verification of academic diplomas in light of this. Hashing, cryptography, public/private key encryption, digital signatures, proof of stake and proof-of-work are among the characteristics of blockchain technology.
