Abstract

The incorporation of smart contracts with decentralized finance (DeFi) is causing a revolution in fiscal geography by providing additional sale mechanisms that are transparent, secure, and efficient. This exploratory article investigates the role that smart contracts play in developing decentralized finance platforms. Particular attention is paid to the capacity of smart contracts to automate and streamline complicated financial procedures without the need for intermediaries. The research investigates the significant innovations that smart contracts bring to the realm of financial transactions. These innovations include programmable financial instruments, automated asset operation, and uncertain exchanges. These contracts can apply agreements with perfection thanks to the utilization of blockchain technology, which helps to reduce the risks that are linked with conventional financial systems. There are also problems and implied traps that are discussed in the study. These include security vulnerabilities and nonsupervisory hurdles, both of which have the potential to affect the widespread abandonment of smart contracts in decentralized finance. In conclusion, this investigation sheds light on how smart contracts have the potential to revolutionize the future of finance by facilitating the provision of further decentralized, efficient, and easily accessible financial services.
